Actor Sathish was last seen on screens in a supporting role in the sports comedy film Sumo directed by S P Hosimin with actors Shiva and Priya Anand in the lead roles. The Sattam En Kaiyil actor will soon begin to shoot for his next untitled venture in which he will be playing the lead role. Director Guru Saravanan, who shot to fame with the success of Malayalam film Koogle Kuttappa, will be helming the project. Story credit is also attributed to him. It is to be noted that he is erstwhile assistant of director K S Ravi Kumar.
Telugu actor Aadhi Sai Kumar, son of veteran actor Sai Kumar, will be making his debut in Kollywood by playing the second lead in the venture. Malayalam actress Sharanya R of Maradona fame will also open her books in Tamil cinema with her female lead part in the drama. The entertainer recently went on floors with a small pooja ceremony. The production house has announced the news on social media.

Production No 1
The pooja ceremony of the film was graced by veteran actor & director K Bhagyaraj and director R K Selvamani. K Bhagyaraj directed the first shot of the flick. Though the project has been officially launched, shoot for the venture is scheduled to begin in January next year. The production house has plans to wrap the shoot by the end of May. The title teaser of the movie is expected to be unveiled by the production team soon.
Apart from Sathish, Aadhi Sai Kumar, and Sharanya R, the star cast of the entertainer also has actors Singampuli, Saravanan, and Black Pandi essaying various supporting roles. Music composer Ghibran Vaibodha will be handling musical gears for the project. Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa has been hired to take care of the cinematography department of the entertainer.
Editor Philomin Raj has been brought on board to work on the editing division of the drama. Art director G Durairaj will be erecting sets for the venture. Stunt master Prabhu Chandrasekar will be designing action blocks for the movie. The drama is backed by G Suresh under the production banner SGS Production.
On the professional front, actor Sathish is awaiting successive releases in Rakkayie crafted by director Senthil Nallasamy in which he has teamed up with actress Nayanthara, and Jana Nayagan filmed by director H Vinoth in which he has costarred with actors Vijay & Pooja Hegde. Actress Sharanya R is busy with her upcoming Malayalam flick Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil scripted by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval in which she will be featuring alongside actors Kunchacko Boban and Sajin Gopu.
On the other hand, actor Aadhi Sai Kumar is presently busy shooting for his future Telugu movies Shambhala helmed by Yagandhar Muni in which he will be partnering with actresses Archana Iyer and Swasika, Sub Inspector Yugandhar filmed by Yaswanth Naik in which he will be romancing actress Megha Lekha, Kirathaka crafted by Veerabhadram in which he will be collaborating with actress Payal Rajput, and Amaran In The City: Chapter 1 scripted by S Balaveer in which he will be seen alongside actress Avika Gor.
