Ravi Mohan’s Karathey Babu To Release On This Date!
Actor Ravi Mohan last graced the silver screens in the action movie Parasakthi scripted by Sudha Kongara with actors Sivakarthikeyan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela in lead roles. The Iraivan actor is now enthusiastically expecting the release of his upcoming political action drama Karathey Babu. Director Ganesh K Babu, who debuted with the blockbuster flick Dada, has crafted the venture. Writers Bakkiyam Sankar and Rathna Kumar have developed the story for the film.
Daudee S Jiwal, a Model and the daughter of former Tamil Nadu DGP Shankar Jiwal, is making her Kollywood debut as the female lead in the movie. Actor Shakthi Vasudevan has essayed the role of a villain in the film. The production house has been promoting the flick by dropping a teaser and a single from the album. Meanwhile, we now have news that the drama will be releasing on 28th of August this year. The makers themselves have announced the news on social media.

The teaser of the flick which released earlier had actor Ravi Mohan tearing in to his political rivals to fiercely defend his stronghold at all cost. Earlier talking to a leading media about his role in Karathey Babu, actor Ravi Mohan said, “I attempt to do something different with each role that I pick. My part in the film will be quite different from what people have seen me do so far. My director Ganesh K Babu is an excellent story teller. You will see that in the movie. I am sure Karathey Babu will be one of the most important projects in my career.”

Music director Sam C S has overseen the musical division of the project. He has united with actor Ravi Mohan for their third venture, following the superhit albums in Adanga Maru and Agilan. Already a single ‘Raasaadhi Raasaa’ in the lyrics and voice of Meenakshi Ilayaraja, is out from the album. Cinematographer K Ezhil Arasu has operated cameras for the entertainer.
Editor Kathiresh Alagesan has been trusted with the editing department of the drama. Art director A R Mohan has engineered sets for the flick. Action master Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed action moves for the project. Karathey Babu is produced by Sundar Arumugam under the production banner Screen Scene Media Entertainment.
On the professional side, actor Ravi Mohan will next be seen on screens in the fantasy comedy entertainer Genie created by Bhuvanesh Arjunan in which he has performed with actresses Krithi Shetty and Kalyani Priyadarshan. The Bogan actor is presently immersed in his next film Bro Code filmed by Karthik Yogi in which he will be featuring with actress Sri Gouri Priya, Thani Oruvan 2 scripted by Mohan Raja in which he will be rejoining actress Nayanthara, and for a cameo role in Benz helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan in which he will be seen alongside actors Raghava Lawrence & Nivin Pauly.
