‘Kaathaaga Vaazhaporam’ Lyrical Video From Vishal’s Magudam Is Out!
Actor Vishal lastly entertained audiences in the action-comedy film Madha Gaja Raja scripted by Sundar C with actresses Anjali and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the female lead roles. The Kaththi Sandai actor is now getting ready for the release of his next Tamil Telugu bilingual action thriller Magudam. The Telugu edition of the flick is titled Makutam. Actor Vishal has helmed the film on his directorial debut. Writer Ravi Arasu has developed the story of the drama. Writers Anand Kumaresan and Pon Parthiban have penned the entertainer’s dialogues.
Actress Anjali of Angadi Theru fame has essayed the female lead role in the movie. Actress Dushara Vijayan of Sarpatta Parambarai fame has played the second female lead in the flick. Filming for the drama happened in parts of Chennai, Ooty, and Kakinada. The production house has already begun to promote the drama. As part of it, they had shared a teaser and a couple of singles from the album on social media. They have now released the fourth single and announced the film’s release date. Magudam is poised to release on 14th of August.
Taking to his official X timeline, actor Vishal himself unveiled the fourth single ‘Kaathaaga Vaazhaporam’ from Magudam and captioned it, “Here is the song you’ve been waiting for!! Singers Haricharan and Meghna Sumesh have lent their voices for the song. Lyricist Vivek has penned the lyrics of the number. The track is mixed and mastered by Aswin George. Music director G V Prakash Kumar orchestrated the musical score for the flick. He has teamed up with actor Vishal for the third time following their runaway hit albums in Naan Sigappu Manithan and Mark Antony.
Already three singles ‘Rise Of Linga’ in the voice of rapper V7H & G V Prakash Kumar lyrics written by V7H, ‘Nachindhi Machane’ crooned by Mangli & Velmurugan lyrics penned by K Ekadesi, and ‘Kalangaadhe’ sung by G V Prakash Kumar lyrics inked by L Karunakaran, is out from the album.
Earlier, speaking about his roles in the entertainer, actor Vishal divulged, “Magudam will have many awe moments and surprises. I will be seen in three different roles. Each character will not just be different in their attires, but have unique mannerism and personality. One character is a medical rep who hails from a middle-class background. Another character is a gangster with a quirky nature. The third one is an aficionado of Ilaiyaraaja’s music.”
The ensemble cast of the project also comprises actors Vamsi Krishna, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiah, Jaya Prakash, Padam Kumar, John Vijay, Abu Salim, Ajay, Anandaraj, Arjai, VJ Jhansi, and Sabhumon. Cinematographers Richard M Nathan & Abinandhan Ramanujam have worked together to capture the venture. Editor N B Srikanth has been trusted with the editing division of the movie.
Art director G Durairaj has built sets for the project. Action director Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed action moves in the flick. The film is funded by B Suresh, R B Jeevan Choudary, Jithan Ramesh, and Jiiva under the production studio Super Good Films. Magudam is the esteemed group’s 99th milestone production.
On the work front, actor Vishal is presently busy with his next project Purushan helmed by Sundar C in which he has collaborated with actors Tamannaah Bhatia & Yogi Babu, and Thupparivaalan 2 directed and headlined by himself with actor Prasanna as second lead.
On the other hand, actress Anjali will soon be seen on screens in Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai scripted by Ram in which she has co-starred with actors Nivin Pauly & Soori. The Vathikuchi actress is now immersed in Eegai helmed by Ashok Velayutham in which she will be seen alongside actors Santhosh Prathap & Abi Natchatra, and a Telugu movie Anandha Bhairavi filmed by Balaji K in which she will be starring with actors Raai Laxmi & Thrigun. Actress Dushara Vijayan is presently focused on her future drama Almost Nallavan created and headlined by Raju Jeyamohan with actors Imman Annachi & Sathyaraj in the lead roles.
