Puratchi Thalapathy Vishal is gearing up for his next release “Rathnam ” which is slated to hit screens from April 26. We all know he is going to direct the sequel of the 2017 blockbuster “Thupparivaalan ”. Originally the project was to be directed by Myskkin and has gone floors in 2019 but due to the rift between Vishal and Mysskin the latter has opted out of the project. It paves the way for Vishal to make his directorial Debut. The latest Buzz is that the project is expected to go on floors from June this year and he has completed a location hunt in London and Azerbaijan.
He has confirmed this on his Instagram Handle and also shared his memorable travel experience with his fans. He wrote “Completed the long recce in london and Azerbaijan for my directorial debut #thupparivalan2 #detective2 and we just landed in dubai. Enthralled and excited not just about what transpired the last two weeks work wise. Will definitely work to live up to my wishes for my film. God bless. Chennai here we come. It’s time for #Rathnam for #April26.”

Vishal is expected to be back home this week and will be gearing up for the promotions for “Rathnam” which will hit screens on April 26. Directed by Hari, the movie has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the lead opposite Vishal. Touted as a Mass Commercial entertainer the project is expected to attract all sections of the audience.
