Nivin Pauly’s Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai Locks A Date For Release!
Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly last had a release in Tamil cinema in the action crime drama Richie crafted by Gautham Ramchandran with actors Shraddha Srinath & Natty in lead roles. The Neram actor is now getting ready for the release of his next romantic psychological thriller movie titled Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai. Director Ram, who has delivered impressive films like Kattradhu Thamizh, Taramani, and Peranbu, has written and directed the entertainer.
Actress Anjali of Angadi Theru fame will be seen in the female lead role in the project. Actor Soori has essayed a pivotal role in the drama. The venture has been awaiting release for quite a long time. Finally, we have news that the movie will be arriving in theaters worldwide on 1st of October. The production house themselves has announced the news on social media.
Taking to their official X profile, the team of Think Music launched a special motion poster along with a link to the release date announcement teaser of Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai and worded, “Some journeys are worth waiting for. One minute odd release date announcement teaser of Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai starts inside a train, to a shot of actor Nivin Pauly feeding a biscuit to a rat. The shot cuts to actor Soori grumbling, “I got those Dubai biscuits for my son. He is feeding them to the rat. Rascal.” He then tries to broach the subject with him, “Sir . . .” Actor Nivin Pauly interjects, “Do not talk while it is eating.” He responds, “Okay, sir.”
Subsequently, actor Nivin Pauly sets the rat down. It crawls towards actor Soori and stands in front of him. He looks at it and says, “What are you staring at? You will not go left, or right? You will only go straight? If I stomp on you . . .” The rat turns to actor Nivin Pauly. Actor Soori says, “Hey! Why are you turning to him?”
Actor Nivin Pauly instructs him to make way for the rat. The teaser ends with director Ram’s voiceover, “Be it an elephant or a rat, a tree or a grass, all are life. The very souls of our ancestors. Wrapped in their embrace, coming this October 1st.” Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai debuted at major international film festivals, including those like Moscow, Rotterdam, and Transilvania (TIFF). It is said that the audience gave the film a standing ovation at all the festivals.
Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has handled musical instruments for the project. He has joined forces with Ram for the fifth time following their brilliant albums in Kattradhu Thamizh, Thanga Meengal, Taramani, and Peranbu. Two songs ‘Marupadi Nee’ in the voice of Siddharth and ‘Yezhezhu Malai’ crooned by Santhosh Narayanan, are already out from the album. Lyricist Madhan Karky has written lyrics for all songs in the album.
Cinematographer N K Ekhambaram has been behind the lens for the entertainer. Editor V S Mathi has overseen the editing division of the flick. Art director Umesh has fashioned sets for the movie. Action master Stunt Silva has designed action blocks for the drama. Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is backed by Suresh Kamatchi under his home banner V House Productions.
On the work side, actor Nivin Pauly is awaiting a couple of releases in Malayalam in Dear Students scripted by Sandeep Kumar & George Philip Roy in which he has costarred with actress Nayanthara, and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit scripted by A D Girish in which he has romanced actress Mamitha Baiju. The actor is currently occupied in his next Tamil project Benz directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan in which he will be seen alongside actors Raghava Lawrence, Ravi Mohan, & Samyuktha Menon, two of his Malayalam ventures Thaaram helmed by Vinay Govind in which he will be performing with actresses Sai Pallavi & Nikhila Vimal, and Action Hero Biju 2 filmed by Soubir Ghosh & Abrid Shine in which he will be starring with actress Anu Emmanuel.
On the other hand, actress Anjali is expecting consecutive releases via Magudam crafted and headlined by actor Vishal with actress Dushara Vijayan as second female lead, a couple of her women centric films Poochandi scripted by Krishnan Jayaraj in which she has associated with actor Yogi Babu, and Eegai created by Ashok Velayutham. The Paranthu Po actress is now busy shooting for her next Malayalam flick Oru Perumgaliyattam filmed by Jayaraj in which she will be featuring with actors Suresh Gopi & Shine Tom Chacko.
