Actor Dhanush K Raja had his last outing in Hindi cinema via the romantic movie Tere Ishk Mein scripted by Aanand L Rai with actress Kriti Sanon in the female lead role. The Captain Miller actor is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming flick Kara. Director Vignesh Raja, who rose to fame with Por Thozhil, has helmed the film. Writer Alfred Prakash has helped shape the flow of the drama.
Actress Mamitha Baiju of Dude fame has portrayed the female lead role in the movie. The project has been predominantly shot across multiple regions in Ramanathapuram. The makers have already announced that the drama will be making it to theaters worldwide on 30th of April. Earlier, they had launched the title teaser of the entertainer on social media. They have now unveiled the first single from the album.

Singers Arunraja Kamaraj, Anthony Daasan, Satyan, and V M Mahalingam have sung the track. Arunraja Kamaraj has written the lyrics of the number. The song is mixed and mastered by Jehovahson Alghar. The musical division of the film has been handed over to music composer G V Prakash Kumar.
The title teaser of Kara which released earlier had actor Dhanush talking about exonerating himself to defend his people and take them to a safe haven. Star cast of the drama also comprises Malayalam actor Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Kushmitha, S Rajapandi, M S Baskar, Nithin Sathya, K S Ravikumar, Sreeja Ravi, and Karunas.
Cinematographer Theni Eswar ISC has cranked cameras for the venture. Editor Sreejith Sarang has been bestowed with the responsibility to chop and patch the movie. Art director Mayapandi has engineered sets for the flick. Action master Dinesh Kasi has fashioned action blocks for the film. The entertainer is backed by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh and Kushmitha Ganesh under the banner house Vels Film International.
On the professional side, actor Dhanush K Raja is presently busy with his future venture tentatively titled D 55 crafted by Rajkumar Periasamy in which he will be sharing screen space with Malayalam actor Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela. Apart this flick, the Kodi actor has D 56 helmed by Mari Selvaraj, Kalam: The Missile Man Of India directed by Om Raut, Ilaiyaraaja scripted by Arun Matheswaran, Pudhupettai 2 helmed by Selvaraghavan, Aayirathil Oruvan 2 also filmed by Selvaraghavan, and a couple of untitled ventures under the directorial of Nelson Dilipkumar & H Vinoth at various levels of pre-production.
