Actor Jiiva last graced the silver screens in the political satire drama Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil helmed by Nithish Sahadev with actress Prathana Nathan in the female lead role. The Black actor is now awaiting the release of his upcoming romantic comedy drama christened Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan. Director M Rajesh, who facilitated laugh riots in theaters with Boss Engira Bhaskaran and All In All Azhagu Raja, has penned and crafted the flick.
Actress Ivana of Love Today fame will be seen in the female lead role in the drama. The entertainer has been shot in various parts of Chennai, and a few portions in Malayasia. The makers are eyeing to bring the film to theaters in the month of August. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be publicized soon. Meanwhile, they have dropped the first look poster of the movie on social media, and announced that the teaser of the flick will be released on 21st of June.

Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan First Look Poster
The first look poster of Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan has actor Jiiva’s image in a kaleidoscopic reflection, with the actor seen whistling using both fingers. Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan is touted to be about a happy go lucky guy whose life turns topsy-turvy after he gets in to a relationship.
Story teller M Rajesh directed actor Jiiva in his debut film Siva Manasula Sakthi. The entertainer which released without much fanfare went on to be a roaring success. The duo is back at work nearly after 15 years. Hence, there are massive expectations on the project.
Apart from Jiiva and Ivana, the casting unit of Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan also has popular YouTubers Sudhakar Jayaraman, Gopi Aravindh, Bagavathi Perumal, Srinivas Rethika, Raj Ayyappa, Abdool Lee, and Hasini Pavithra playing various supporting characters.
Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja has been signed in to compose music for the film. He is collaborating with actor Jiiva for the seventh time after their celebrated albums in Raam, Kattradhu Thamizh, Siva Manasula Sakthi, Kalathil Santhippom, Coffee With Kadhal, and Aghathiyaa.
Cinematographer M Sukumar has taken care of the cinematography division of the entertainer. Editor Ashish Joseph has been bestowed with the responsibility to bring coherence to the movie. Art director Hasini Pavithra has designed the background for the drama. Action master Prabhu C has engineered action moves for the flick. Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan is backed by Dato Abdul Malik along with Razik Ahamed under the production label Malik Streams Corporation.
On the professional side, actor Jiiva will soon have his next release in Golmaal crafted by Ponkumaran in which he has joined forces with actresses Tanya Hope & Payal Rajput. The Kee actor is currently busy shooting for his future project tentatively christened Jiiva 46 scripted by K G Balasubramani in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Rabiya Khatoon, and a Hindi flick The Saga Of Rashtriya Rifles filmed by Manzoor Ahmad in which he will be seen alongside actors Ashutosh Rana, Fahmaan Khan, & Urvashi Rautela.
On the other hand, actress Ivana is now busy with her next Telugu venture Selfish directed by story teller Kasi Vishal in which she will be featuring with actors Racha Ravi & Ashish Reddy.
