First Single ‘Pattampoochi’ From Suriya’s Vishwanath And Sons Is Out!

Actor Suriya had a superb release last month in the fantasy action film Karuppu helmed by RJ Balaji with actress Trisha Krishnan as female lead. The Anjaan actor is now gearing up for his upcoming release via the Tamil Telugu bilingual romantic comedy drama titled Vishwanath And Sons. Director Venky Atluri, who impressed audiences with his craft in Vaathi and Lucky Baskhar, has penned and directed the drama. Writer K N Vijayakumar has written dialogues for the movie. 

Actress Mamitha Baiju of Dude fame has been paired with actor Suriya in the entertainer. The venture was shot across several zones in Chennai, Hyderabad, Belarus, and parts of Europe. Vishwanath And Sons is scheduled to hit screens worldwide on 14th of August. Earlier, the makers had released the teaser of the drama on social media. They have now dropped the first single from the album. 

Taking to her official X account, actress Mamitha Baiju herself shared a special poster along with a link to the first single ‘Pattampoochi’ from Vishwanath And Sons and wrote, “The most beautiful thing about love? Singer Sublahshini has sung the track. Director and lyricist Arunraja Kamaraj has inked the lyrics of the song. The number is mixed and mastered by Jehovahson Alghar. Dance choreographer Vijay Binni has designed dance moves for the track. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has scored music for the entertainer. 

The star cast of Vishwanath And Sons also includes actors Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, Kaali Venkat, Nassar, Raghu Babu, Bhavani Sri, Sudha, Sunil Reddy, George Maryan, Bjorn Surrao, Viva Harsha, Srija Ravi, Mathew Varghese, Hyper Aadhi, Sarvadaman Banerjee, Master Charvik, Karate Karthik, and Kalyani Natarajan. 

Cinematographer Nimish Ravi has shouldered camera for the film. Editor Navin Nooli has been brought on board to edit the entertainer. Art directors Shiva Kamesh D and Jithu Sebastian have worked in tandem to design sets for the venture. Stunt director Venkat has fashioned action blocks for the flick. 

Vishwanath And Sons is backed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the production label Sithara Entertainments, in collaboration with Sai Soujanya for the production banner Fortune Four Cinemas. Radha Krishna will be presenting the entertainer under his production house Srikara Studios. 

On the professional side, actor Suriya in presently immersed in his future film tentatively titled Suriya 47 created by Jithu Madhavan in which he will be romancing actress Nazriya Nazim, Rolex helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in which he will be starring with actors Vijay Sethupathi & Arjun Das, Vaadivaasal directed by Vetrimaaran, and for a cameo part in Benz crafted by Bakkiyaraj Kannan in which he will be seen alongside actors Raghava Lawrence, Nivin Pauly & Samyuktha Menon

On the other hand, actress Mamitha Baiju has a pipeline of releases in Tamil via Jana Nayagan filmed by H Vinoth in which she has worked with actors Vijay & Pooja Hegde, Irandu Vaanam directed by Ram Kumar in which she has romanced actor Vishnu Vishal, and in Malayalam via Bethlehem Kudumba Unit created by Girish A D in which she has costarred with actor Nivin Pauly. The actress is currently engaged in her next Malayalam project Premalu 2 scripted by Girish A D in which she will be performing alongside actor Naslen, and an untitled movie filmed by Dinoy Poulose in which she will be associating with actor Sangeeth Prathap.
