Now, the actor once again is set to wear the hat of a writer for the film Chennai Palani Mars. The actor had already co written the script of his first production venture Orange Mittai with his pal Biju Vishwanath which received critical acclamation from critics but failed to create magic at the box office.

Now, the actor who has numerous films in his pipeline is set to pen down a script once again for a flick that will be directed yet again by his best pal Biju Vishwanath. Apart from penning the script the actor will also be co producing the film partnering with Biju Vishwanath. The actor himself has publicized the news on his twitter account along with a poster. The actor also revealed that the first look of the film will be released on 22nd of May. The cast for the film is expected to be predominately filled with new comers.
The previous flick Orange Mittai for which the actor and director teamed up for was a whacky comedy drama which had actor Vijay Sethupathi in the role of an ailing old man. But for Chennai Palani Mars, the actor has refrained from being a part of the acting department with just reserving his responsibilities within the writing department. Biju Vishwanath will take care of direction, cinematography as well as the editing department for the film. The music for the film will be composed by music director Niranjan Babu.
In spite of being on the wheels between multiple sets, the actor’s decision to pen down a script has sent many celebrities to the awe state. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of July and is expected to be released by the end of the year. We hope that unlike Orange Mittai this film shines bright commercially as well.
On the work front, it is quite a known fact that actor Vijay Sethupathi is one of the busiest actors of Kollywood. The actor will be next seen on screens in the film Sindhubaadh which is thriving vigorously in the post production department. The actor has just wrapped up the first schedule shoot of his crime thriller flick under the directorial of S. P. Jananathan. Apart from these flicks the actor will be making his debut in Malayalam through Marconi Mathai and has Kadaisi Vivasayi, Sanga Thamizhan, Maanmanithan and Idam Porul Yaeval in his kitty.
