Actor Vijay Antony last graced the silver screens in a cameo role in the romantic comedy movie Pookie helmed by Ganesh Chandra with actors Ajay Dhishan and R K Dhanusha in lead roles. The Shakthi Thirumagan actor is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming family drama Nooru Sami. Director Sasi, who already tasted success with actor Vijay Antony in Pichaikkaran, has directed the flick. He has sought the assistance of writer Mohan Rajan to shape the film’s screenplay.
Malayalam actress Lijomol Jose of Jai Bhim fame has been paired with actor Vijay Antony in the movie. Malayalam actress Swasika Vijay of Lubber Pandhu fame has essayed a key part in the entertainer. The shoot for the flick primarily took place in various localities of Kallakurichi. The makers have been promoting the film by dropping singles from the album. Meanwhile, we now have news that the drama will be releasing in theaters on 19th of June. The makers themselves have announced the news on social media.

Music director Balaji Sriram has scored music for the entertainer. Three songs ‘Maaya Kanavo’ crooned by Kapil Kapilan & Chinmayi Sripaada lyrics inked by Mohan Rajan, ‘Amma Amma Dhaan’ in the lyrics of Mohan Rajan sung by Sreekanth Hariharan, and ‘Reengara’ in the voice of Anurag Kulkarni & Darini Hariharan lyric written by Mohan Rajan, is already out from the album.
Cinematographer S B Darshan Kirlosh has cranked cameras for the venture. Editor Harish Yuvaraj has been contracted to oversee the editing division of the flick. Art director V Sasi Kumar has fashioned sets for the project. Stunt master Ramkumar has choreographed action moves for the venture.
