Actor Kalaiyarasan last graced the silver screens in the psychological thriller film Kolaiseval crafted by V R Thudhivaanan with actress Deepa Balu in the female lead role. Actor Vidharth lastly entertained audiences in the thriller movie Marutham helmed by Gajendran with actress Rakshana as female lead. Both the actors are now getting ready for their next release in the crime thriller Moondram Kan. Newbie story teller Sago Ganesan has inked and helmed the flick.
Actress Teju Ashwini of Blackmail fame has portrayed a crucial role in the film. The shoot for the project took place in various parts of Chennai. The makers have already publicized that the venture will hit the screens on 12th of June. They had recently unveiled the teaser of the movie on social media. They have now dropped the first single from the album.

Music composer Ajesh Ashok has scored music for songs in the album. He has also crooned the track. Director Sago Ganesan himself has written the lyrics for the number. The track is mixed and mastered by Vinay Sridhar. Dance master Radhika has choreographed dance moves for the song. The teaser of the movie, which was released recently, established a tense dynamic between colleagues in an office, resulting in a murder.
Besides Kalaiyarasan, Vidharth, and Teju Ashwini, the star cast of Moondram Kan also has actors Santhosh Prathap, John Vijay, Athulya Chandra, Radha Srinivasan, KPY Sarath, Swetha Dorathy, Aiswarya K S, and Thrigun in various supporting roles. Musician R S Rajprathap has composed the background score for the film. Cinematographer N S Uthaya Kumar has shouldered camera for the movie.
Editor R Ramar has been trusted with the editing department of the flick. Art director Micheal has erected sets for the entertainer. Action director Karthik has choreographed action moves for the project. Moondram Kan is funded by Sasi Kumar under the production label White Horse Studios, in association with Sago Ganesan for the banner house Trending Entertainment.
On the professional front, actor Kalaiyarasan is expecting successive releases in Vettuvam crafted by Pa Ranjith in which he has performed alongside actors Arya, Dinesh, & Sobhita Dhulipala, Train created by Mysskin in which he has partnered with actors Vijay Sethupathi, Narain, & Ira Dayanand, Pitha helmed by Aathityaa in which he has romanced with actress Anu Keerthy, and Mugam scripted by Sriram Prasath in which he has joined forces with actress Arundhathi. The Natchathiram Nagargiradhu actor is now engaged in his future film Street directed by Harshavardhana in which he will be partnering with actress Ritu Varma.
