Producer Kotapadi J Rajesh alias KJR who backed films such as Airaa, Dikkiloona, and Gulaebaghavali is getting ready to launch his career as a lead hero via the upcoming action sports film Angikaaram. Newbie story teller JP Thenpathiyan has inked and crafted the movie.
Actress Viji Venkatesh will be seen in a prominent part in the project. The makers have been promoting the film by dropping a single and a trailer for the entertainer on social media. They have now dropped the second single from the album, and announced the date for the release of the movie. Angikaaram is all set to release in theaters on 26th of June.

Music director Ghibran Vaibodha has taken care of the musical department of the venture. He has also crooned the song along with singer Thamizh Kodi. Lyricist Karthik Netha has written lyrics for the track. The number is mixed and mastered by Abin Pushpakaran. Dance master Sherif has choreographed dance moves for the song. Already a single ‘Bhum Bhum’ in the voice of Vaikom Vijayalakshmi lyrics penned by Karthik Netha, is out from the album.
The trailer of the film showed actor Kotapadi J Rajesh as a promising athlete struggling to overcome the systemic barriers that keep him from achieving his dream of representing his nation. Apart from Kotapadi J Rajesh and Viji Venkatesh, the casting unit of the flick also has actors Vasundhara Kashyap, Antony, Mansoor Ali Khan, Isabella, Rama, Mohan Ram, Ram Vimal, Arul Jothi, Sindhoori Vishwanath, Janaki, Ajith Koshy, and Rangaraj Pandey essaying various supporting roles.
Cinematographer A Viswanath has overseen the cinematography division of the movie. Editor Dinesh Kumar has been bestowed with the responsibility to bring coherence to the entertainer. Art director Ramu Thangaraj has fashioned the background for the venture. Action director Peter Hein has designed action moves for the drama. The project is funded by Ajith Baskar, SK Prasanth, and Arun Murugan under the production company Swastik Visions.
On the work front, actor Kotapadi J Rajesh is currently busy shooting for his next untitled venture under the direction of story teller Regan Stanislaus in which he will be sharing screen space with actors Sridevi Apalla, Arjun Ashokan, Aju Varghese, and Abishek Joseph George.
