Actor Atharvaa Murali was last seen on screens in the action movie Parasakthi helmed by Sudha Kongara with actors Sivakarthikeyan, Jayam Ravi, and Sreeleela in lead roles. The Trigger actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming coming-of-age romantic drama Idhayam Murali. Producer Aakash Baskaran will make his debut as a director in this flick. Writer S Ramana Girivasan has helped develop the story of the entertainer. Actor Dravid Selvam has also served as a dialogue writer for the project.
Actress Kayadu Lohar of Dragon fame has depicted the lead role in the entertainer. Actress Preity Mukundhan of Star fame has played the second female lead in the flick. The production house has already begun to promote the movie. As part of it, they had unveiled the teaser and singles from the flick on social media. We now have news that the drama will be releasing in theaters worldwide on 10th of July. The makers themselves have announced the news on social media.

The nearly one minute making video has montage shots of actor Atharvaa Murali from the shooting spots, and the star dubbing for the entertainer. It ends with him expressing that he feels like a student who has been on a journey throughout the whole academic year, just before being promoted to the next grade.
Apart from Atharvaa Murali, Kayadu Lohar, and Preity Mukundhan, the casting team of Idhayam Murali also has actors Natarajan Subramaniam, Dravid Selvam, Jonita Gandhi, Anju Kurian, Niharika N M, Rakshan, S Thaman, Sudhakar, Angeline B, Yashashree Rao, and Pragya Nagra. Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil has played an extended cameo part in the film.
Music director S Thaman has headed the music department for the drama. Already three singles ‘Idhayaa’ sung by Vishal Mishra & Thaman S, ‘Thangame Thangame’ in the voice of Dheeraj, Rajini, Adviteeya, Sruthi, Prakruthi, Pranati, & Sahithi, and ‘Vaan Vaan’ crooned by Mohit Chauhan is already out from the album. Lyricist Vivek has penned lyrics for all the tracks.
Cinematographers C H Sai and Manoj Paramahamsa have been behind lens for the venture. Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been hired to chop and patch the entertainer. Art director Senthilkumar Kesavan has engineered the background for the film. Stunt director Jaikumar Vairavan has choreographed action blocks in the drama. Idhayam Murali is produced by Aakash Baskaran himself under his home banner Dawn Pictures. The digital rights of the flick have been acquired by Netflix OTT platform.
On the professional front, actor Atharvaa Murali is awaiting successive releases in Valai directed by Jeeva Sankar in which he has featured with actresses Rupa Manjari & Vani Bhojan, and his delayed movie Address created by Rajamohan in which he has worked with actresses Dhiya & Pooja Jhaveri. The Boomerang actor is now focused on his future project Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu scripted by Rajamohan in which he will be performing alongside actress Pooja Jhaveri, two of his untitled movies helmed by Akash in which he will be teaming up with actress Khushi Kapoor, and another under M Rajesh in which he will be partnering with actress Aditi Shankar.
On the other hand, actress Kayadu Lohar will next be seen on screens in Tamil in Immortal filmed by Mariyappan Chinna in which she has joined forces with actor G V Prakash Kumar, and in Malayalam via I’m Game crafted by Nahas Hidhayath in which she has costarred with actor Dulquer Salmaan. The actress in now engaged in her next Tamil venture Arasan directed by Vetrimaaran in which she will be collaborating with actors Silambarasan & Vijay Sethupathi, a Malayalam movie Thaaram scripted by Vinay Govind in which she will be seen alongside actors Nivin Pauly & Nikhila Vimal, and a Telugu film The Paradise crafted by Srikanth Odela in which she will be romancing actor Nani.
