Actor Arya was last seen on screens earlier this year in a cameo role in actor Vishal’s action-comedy film Madha Gaja Raja. The Teddy actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming Tamil Malayalam bilingual drama christened Ananthan Kaadu. Story teller Jiyen Krishnakumar, who shot to fame with Run Baby Run, is directing the entertainer. Writer Murali Gopy has written the script of the venture.
Actresses Nikhila Vimal of Vaazhai fame and Regina Cassandra have been signed in to play the female leads in the project. The entertainer went on floors last year in Ramanathapuram. The project has now reached its final leg of shooting. Meanwhile, the production unit has released the title teaser of the film on social media.
Taking to his official X profile, actor Vishal shared a couple of posters from the flick along with a link to the title teaser from Ananthan Kaadu and worded, “All the best my darling Arya for your new multilingual movie Ananthan Kaadu. First look and Title Teaser looks promising. May it reap all the success it deserves at the box office and may your hard work as always pay off dearest jammy. Also wishing the entire cast and crew and the production house all the best. God bless Hope u all enjoy the teaser and the first look poste. Nearly one-minute odd title teaser of Ananthan Kaadu opens to a closeup shot of a campfire, and shifts to an aerial shot giving us a picture of multiple campfires within a zone of what appears to be a forest. Following which we witness a child in a kneeling position with someone pointing a gun to his head. Then we have a voiceover, “I am the lightning in a sky that has consumed light. I was born in the land of poverty to give birth to revolution.” The shot cuts to someone pointing a gun to actor Arya’s head.
We are then given montages of a police convoy rushing to a place, a police squad taking position to open fire, someone being slaughtered, and a car bomb blast. The voiceover continues, “I am born to bring happiness to the bloodied land. I became the root and grew up to be trees. I do not fall fearing treachery and fate. I am like the never-ending dense forest.”
Apart from Arya, Nikhila Vimal, and Regina Cassandra, the casting crew of Ananthan Kaadu also has actors Sunil, Indrans, Murali Gopy, Appani Sarath, Vijayaraghavan, Dev Mohan, Santhy Balachandran, Achyuth Kumar, Sabumon Abdusamad, Anjali Nair, and Bose Venkat essaying various supporting roles. The musical department of the flick has been handed over to music director B Ajaneesh Loknath.
Cinematographer S Yuva has been trusted with the cinematography division of the drama. Editor Rohit V S Variyath has been roped in to bring coherence to the movie. Art director Indulal Kaveed is designing the background for the film. Stunt master R Sakthi Saravanan is fashioning action blocks for the project. Ananthan Kaadu is backed by S Vinod Kumar under the production banner Mini Studio’s.
On the work front, actor Arya is gearing up for the release of his next movie Mr. X crafted by Manu Anand in which he has co starred with actors Gautham Karthik, Manju Warrier, and Anagha. The Captain actor will soon begin to shoot for Sarpatta Parambarai 2 under Pa Ranjith’s direction in which he will be performing alongside actress Dushara Vijayan. Apart from these movies, the Enemy star has his long-delayed flick Santhana Devan scripted by Ameer Sultan in which he will be romancing actress Aditi Menon, and Sangamithra helmed by Sundar C in which he will be sharing screen space with actor Jayam Ravi in the shelves.
On the other hand, actress Nikhila Vimal is presently engaged in her future Malayalam projects Pennu Case directed by Febin Sidharth, Thaaram filmed by Vinay Govind in which she will be teaming up with actors Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, & Kayadu Lohar, and a web series Anali scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas in which she will be partnering with actress Leona Lishoy.
