Special Promotional Video Of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s Sabari In Out!

Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar was last seen on screens in a supporting role in the Telugu drama Veera Simha Reddy which hit the screens under the directorial of story teller Gopichand Malineni with actor Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead, and actresses Honey Rose and Shruti Haasan in the female lead roles. The project opened to negative reviews from the audience. But actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar received critical acclaim for her performance in the movie. Now the Tharai Thappattai actress has moved on, and is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie titled Sabari. Actor Ganesh Venkatraman has portrayed her love interest in the film. Director Anil Katz has penned and directed the flick. The venture which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony some time ago, was shot in and around the scenic locations of Kodaikanal. The project has now been wrapped, and is in the post production. 

Now, the production house has shared a special promotional video of the entertainer on social media. Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar herself has shared the video. Taking to her official twitter handle, the actress shared a poster from the flick along with a link to the special promotional video, and wrote, “Here you go guys. . super excited for this one . . .” Here is the tweet made by the actress.

The video opens to a bird’s eye view shot of a ghat road followed by the introduction of the actress. We get a glimpse of the bond she shares with her daughter. Midway through, the tone switches acutely. We witnessed someone trying to harm her child. It looks like the drama is about the battle of how she saves her child from the predator. The production unit is eyeing to bring the drama to the theaters for the summer of 2023. The entertainer will be released as a pan Indian flick in languages Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, kannada, and Hindi. 

Earlier talking about the film to a leading media house, director Anil Katz said, “Sabari will be an intense psychological thriller. There is a bit of an emotional aspect to the film as well. The story is set at the backdrop of a hill station. We have all seen what kind of a performer actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has been for years now. In Sabari, she will be seen in a role that she has never played before in her entire career. Her part goes through a wide range of emotions. Actor Ganesh Venkatraman will be portraying Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s love interest. The equation between Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Mime Gopi will be an interesting one to watch.” 

Apart from actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the casting department of the drama has actors Ganesh Venkatraman, Shashank Siddhamsetty, Mime Gopi, Harish Chandra, Sunayana, Rajshree Nair, Prabhu, Raghava, Krishnateja, Baby Kritika, Bindu Pagidimarri, Ashrita, Vemuganti, Harshini Koduru, Archana Anant, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Ravi, and Baby Niveksha portraying various other supporting parts. Music director Gopi Sundar has composed the music for the movie. Cinematographer Nani Chamidisetty has shouldered the camera for the flick. Editor Dharmendra Kakaraka has been roped in to trim the project. Art director Asish Teja has erected sets for the venture. The project is produced by Mahendranath Koondla under the production label Maha Movies. 

On the work front, actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar who had her last outing in Tamil in the likes of Yashoda is currently busy shooting for her upcoming drama titled Pirandhal Parasakthi under the direction of Om Vijay, and for Colors helmed by director Nissar. The actress is also busy shooting for her next Telugu film Hanu Man directed by Prasanth Varma, and for her Kannada flick christened Lagaam. Apart from these films, the actress also has Vindhya Victim Verdict V3 scripted by director Amudhavanan, Kondraal Paavam crafted by Dayal Padmanabhan in which she has romanced actor Santhosh Prathap, and Pamban filmed by A. Venkatesh in various stages of post-production getting shaped for release.
