Actor Hiphop Tamizha Adhi had his last outing in the science fiction action thriller drama Kadaisi Ulaga Por helmed and headlined by himself with actors Nassar, Natty Subramaniam, and Anagha N in lead roles. The PT Sir actor is now getting ready for the release of his next venture Meesaya Murukku 2. He has inked and crafted the movie. Writers Karan Karky and Nithish D have helped write the dialogues of the film.
Actress Chaithra J Achar of My Lord fame has played the female lead role in the flick. The shoot for the film extensively took place across various locations in Chennai. The makers had recently dropped the first single from the album on social media. They have now released the second single from the entertainer.
Taking to their official X handle, the production team of Avni Cinemax shared a small clip of the song Pappali Pazhamey from Meesaya Murukku 2 and worded, “Speaker sathatha yethunga! Singers Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, Gana Vinod, and Gana Dharani have crooned the track. Lyricist K R Dharan has penned lyrics for the song. The number is mixed by Gethin John and mastered by Donal Whelan. Dance master Baba Baskar has choreographed dance moves for the track. Hiphop Tamizha Adhi has also scored music for the drama. Already a song ‘Aura 10/10’ sung by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi in the lyrics of Thamizh Aadhavan is out from the album.
Meesaya Murukku was touted to be a semi-autobiographical coming of age movie based on musician Hiphop Tamizha Adhi’s real life. The project also marked the debut of the star as an actor and director in Kollywood. The entertainer which hit screens amidst massive expectations registered a big box-office smash. Hence, there is huge anticipation for the second installment of the franchise. The team is yet to announce whether the second part is a direct sequel or a standalone story.
Besides Hiphop Tamizha Adhi and Chaithra J Achar, star cast of Meesaya Murukku 2 also has actors Karunakaran, Harshath Khan, Ketika Sharma, Nassar, Yogi Babu, Aadukalam Naren, Shah Ra, Ramya Ranganathan, and Karunas in various supporting parts. Cinematographer Balaji Subramanyam has worked on the cinematography department of the flick.
Editor Fenny Oliver has been roped in to oversee the editing division of the movie. Art director V S Dinesh Kumar has erected sets for the film. Stunt master Action Sandhosh has engineered action moves for the drama. Meesaya Murukku 2 is backed by Khushbu Sundar and Anandita Sundar under the banner house Avni Cinemax in association with ACS Arun Kumar for the production house Benzz Media Pvt Ltd.
On the professional front, actor Hiphop Tamizha Adhi is simultaneously scoring music for Vishal’s Purushan filmed by Sundar C with actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles, and Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman 2 also helmed by Sundar C with actresses Abhinaya, Regena Cassandra, and Iniya essaying prominent characters.
On the other hand, actress Chaithra J Achar will next grace the screens via her next Kannada film Strawberry scripted by Arjun Lewis in which she has joined forces with actors Sruthi Hariharan and Dheekshith Shetty. The 3 BHK actress is currently engaged in her next Tamil drama Arasan directed by Vetrimaaran in which she will be performing alongside actors Silambarasan, Vijay Sethupathi, & Andrea Jeremiah, a couple of Kannada ventures Uttarakaanda crafted by Rohit Padaki in which she will be costarring with actors Shiva Rajkumar, Aishwarya Rajesh, & Bhavana Menon, Laila’s Sweet Dreams filmed by Shakti Prasad, and a Telugu flick Fauzi directed by Hanu Raghavapudi in which she will be seen alongside actor Prabhas.
