Kavin And Nayanthara’s Hi Locks A New Release Date!
Actor Kavin Raj had his last outing in the action thriller drama Mask helmed by debutant story teller Vikarnan Ashok with actress Andrea Jeremiah as female lead. The Dada actor is now eagerly expecting the release of his next romantic movie titled Hi. Lyricist Vishnu Edavan will kickstart his directing career with this movie. Writer C U Muthuselvan has helped shape the plot of the film.
Actress Nayanthara has been cast opposite actor Kavin in the venture. Their collaboration has thrilled their aficionados. The project was shot in various parts of Chennai, Chengalpattu, and Hyderabad. The makers have been promoting the flick by dropping singles from the album. They recently announced that the entertainer will release on 14th of August. Now we have news that the film has been rescheduled for a release on 28th of August. The production house themselves has announced the news on social media.

One minute odd date announcement video has actors Kavin Raj and Nayanthara discussing a fiery speech for the audience. Nayanthara tells him there is no need for a speech, and lets the film speak for itself. She then asks him to inform the audience about the release date. He jokes, saying she is the producer and only she would know. They play a game to announce the release date.
The star cast of the drama also includes late actor Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Fepsi Vijayan, Radhika Sarathkumar, VTV Ganesh, Mirchy Kemy, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Adithya Kadhir, Kureshi, Sathyan, Kaviya Arivumani, and Amrudha Srinivasan. The musical division of the movie has been handed over to music composer Jen Martin. He is reuniting with actor Kavin Raj for the fourth time after their runaway hits in Dada, Bloody Beggar, and Kiss.
Already three singles ‘Kannukuzhiya’ crooned by G V Prakash Kumar, ‘Rasagulla’ sung by Anirudh Ravichander, and ‘Pacha Pulla’ in the vocals of Sathya Narayanan lyrics written by Ashique A R, is out from the album. Director Vishnu Edavan himself has penned lyrics for two tracks.
Cinematographer Rajesh Shukla has overseen the visuals and camera division for the drama. Editor Philomin Raj has been trusted with the editing department of the project. Art directors Kannan S and Sekar B have coordinated to engineer sets for the venture. Stunt director Dinesh Kasi has choreographed action blocks in the entertainer.
The project is bankrolled by S S Lalit Kumar under the production banner Seven Screen Studio, in partnership with Nayanthara & Vignesh Shivan under the production company Rowdy Pictures, along with Umesh Kumar Bansal for the production label Zee Studios.
On the work side, actor Kavin Raj is currently engrossed in his next movie provisionally christened Kavin 09 created by Ken Royson in which he will be joining forces with actors Priyanka Arul Mohan & Sandy Master, Kavin 11 filmed by Praveen Paramasivam, and Per Sollum Pillai directed by Ram Sangaiah in which he will be featuring with actors Sanjana & Bala Saravanan.
On the other hand, actress Nayanthara has a packed pipeline of releases across industries in Tamil via Mookuthi Amman 2 helmed by Sundar C in which she has worked with actresses Regina Cassandra & Abhinaya, Mannangatti scripted by Dude Vicky in which she has partnered with actors Gouri G Kishan & Yogi Babu, a Malayalam flick Dear Students crafted by Sandeep Kumar & George Philip Roy in which she has romanced actor Nivin Pauly, and a Kannada drama Toxic created by Geethu Mohandas in which she has collaborated with actor Yash.
