Ulaganayahan Kamal Hassan was last seen in the 2022 blockbuster Vikram. He is currently shooting for his upcoming highly- anticipated flick “Thug Life” directed by Mani Ratnam. The movie marks the reunion of the actor-director due after 30 years. The duo previously worked together in the critically acclaimed movie “Nayakan” in 1987. Young Actor Jayam Ravi is expected to play a crucial role in the project. The first leg of the shooting has been wrapped and the second schedule is all set to commence from today in Serbia. Touted as a period drama, the movie has Trisha, Dulquer Salman, Nasser, Abhirami, Gautham Karthik and Aishwarya Lakshmi playing crucial roles. The music is composed by AR Rahman.

Kamal Hassan is expected to stay there till March second week. Later on, the actor will take a small break and is expected to take part in the Indian elections. After polling is over, he will again join the shoot and is planning to wrap the project in a quick succession. After this Kamal Hassan will be joining hands with ace stunt choreographers Anbu and Arivu for their directorial debut. The project is expected to commence later this year.
