‘Kai Valavi Kulunga’ Fourth Single From Soori’s Mandaadi Is A Festive Folk Song!
Actor Soori had his last outing in the action-comedy drama Maaman helmed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj with actress Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead. The Viduthalai actor will soon grace the silver screens in the sports action thriller movie christened Mandaadi. Director Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, who rose to the spotlight with his craft in Selfie, has directed the flick. He has teamed up with writers Ameer Jamal Khan, R Mohana Vasanthan, and Thiral Sankar to build the story of the entertainer.
Writer Ameer Jamal Khan has written dialogue for the venture. Actress Mahima Nambiar of Iravukku Aayiram Kangal fame has been paired against actor Soori in the flick. Mandaadi is all set to arrive in theaters worldwide on 10th of September. The production house has been promoting the project by releasing a teaser and a couple of singles from the album. They have now unveiled the fourth song from the movie on social media.

Singers Satyan Mahalingam and Suganthi have sung the song. Lyricist Jayashree Mathimaran has written lyrics for the track. The number is mixed and mastered by Aswin George John. Dance choreographer Azar has designed dance moves for the song. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has composed music for the drama.
Already three songs ‘Madaadi Madaadi’ sung by Ra Vaaheesan & V M Mahalingam lyrics penned by Ra Vaaheesan, ‘Usure Needhan Pulla’ crooned by Kapil Kapilan & Sanjana Kalmanje lyrics written by Jayashree Mathimaran, and ‘Oli Vattam’ in the voice of Vedan lyrics inked by Ritual and Vedan, is out from the album.
The teaser of Mandaadi, which was released earlier, showed a high stakes sailing regatta framed by actor Sathyaraj’s philosophical voiceover about competition and sportsmanship, contrasted with a sleek, action-packed introduction of Soori. The star-studded cast of the entertainer also comprises actors Suhas, Sathyaraj, Bala Saravanan, Mithun Jai Sankar, Achyuth Kumar, Aadukalam Murugadoss, Ravindra Vijay, Sachana Namidass, B Krithika, Stun Siva, Krish Hassan, Ramachandran, Rajesh Gopishetty, Phathmen, and Rajapandi.
Cinematographer S R Kathir has been behind the lens for the project. Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been hired to edit the drama. Art director S J Ram has erected sets for the venture. Action directors Dhilip Subbarayan, Peter Hein, and Mahesh Mathew have fashioned action moves in the film. Mandaadi is produced by Elred Kumar along with V Manikandan under the banner house RS Infotainment. Netflix OTT platform has reserved the post theatrical streaming rights for the entertainer.
On the professional side, actor Soori is eagerly anticipating the premiere of Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai helmed by Ram in which he has joined forces with actors Nivin Pauly & Anjali. The Garudan actor is now focused on his future untitled venture directed by R Ravikumar, Iraivan Miga Periyavan filmed by Ameer Sultan in which he will be appearing alongside actors Mirnaa & Karu Pazhaniappan, and Maattram crafted by Anjathe Sridhar in which he will be performing with actors Appukutty & Saalai Ravi.
On the other hand, actress Mahima Nambiar is simultaneously expecting the release of Bell Bottom scripted by Sathyasiva in which she has worked with actor Krishna, and a release in Telugu via Comrade Kalyan filmed by Janakiram Marella in which she will be seen alongside actor Sree Vishnu. The Puriyatha Puthir actress is now absorbed in her next untitled Tamil movie directed by Pa Vijay in which she will be collaborating with actor Prabhu Deva.
