Jiiva’s Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan Teaser: A Political Satire At A Nuptial Event!
Actor Jiiva was last seen in a cameo role in the Telugu movie S Saraswathi crafted and headlined by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar with actors Prakash Raj and Priyamani in lead roles. The Gypsy actor is now getting ready for the release of his next romantic comedy flick christened Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan. Story teller M Rajesh, who brought the house down with laughter via his works Boss Engira Bhaskaran and All In All Azhagu Raja, has inked and crafted the entertainer.
Actress Ivana of Let’s Get Married fame has been cast as the female lead in the entertainer. Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan was shot in several vicinities of Chennai, and a wee bit in Malayasia. The production house had recently released the first look poster, and promised to drop the teaser soon. As promised, they have now shared the teaser of the project on social media.

One minute odd teaser of Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan begins with Jiiva and Sudhakar Jayaraman entering a marriage function in an inebriated state and causing a ruckus. They both garland themselves and dance to a background song. Following which actor Jiiva tells Sudhakar Jayaraman, “Ask them to stop the music.” He asks him, “What happened?” Jiiva says, “You know I am not interested in politics. Let me just remain as a common man.”
Actor Sudhakar Jayaraman responds, “Once upon a time, a fellow who went to stop a marriage, just like you, is a daring chief minister today. When you get an opportunity, you should not decline it. you should enjoy it.” Subsequently, actor Jiiva pretends to puke on a person nearby to vacate a seat. After sitting on the seat, Sudhakar Jayaraman pulls a political reference saying, “I got a seat.” The teaser ends with actor Jiiva mouthing, “Hey! Pallavi, let me show you how sleazy I am.”
Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan is said to be about a happy go lucky guy whose life turns topsy-turvy after he gets into a relationship. Star cast of Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan also includes popular YouTuber Sudhakar Jayaraman, M S Bhaskar, Gopi Aravindh, Tulasi, Srinivas Rethika, Bagavathi Perumal, Raj Ayyappa, Hasini Pavithra, and Abdool Lee.
Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has been hired to score music for the movie. This will be his seventh association with actor Jiiva following their sensational hits in Raam, Kattradhu Thamizh, Siva Manasula Sakthi, Kalathil Santhippom, Coffee With Kadhal, and Aghathiyaa.
Cinematographer M Sukumar has been behind the lens for the flick. Editor Ashish Joseph has been roped in to edit the drama. Art director Hasini Pavithra has erected sets for the film. Stunt master Prabhu C has choreographed action blocks for the entertainer. Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan is bankrolled by Dato Abdul Malik and Razik Ahamed under the production house Malik Streams Corporation.
On the work side, actor Jiiva is anticipating the release of Golmaal created by Ponkumaran in which he has costarred with actresses Tanya Hope & Payal Rajput. The Black actor is now working on his next film tentatively titled Jiiva 46 filmed by K G Balasubramani in which he will be performing alongside actress Rabiya Khatoon, and a Hindi drama The Saga Of Rashtriya Rifles crafted by Manzoor Ahmad in which he will be partnering with actors Ashutosh Rana, Fahmaan Khan, & Urvashi Rautela.
On the other hand, actress Ivana is presently engaged in her next Telugu movie Selfish scripted by Kasi Vishal in which she will be starring with actors Racha Ravi & Ashish Reddy.
