Actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu was last seen in the digital space in the romantic sports action film Rambo directed by M Muthaiah with actress Tanya Ravichandran as female lead. The Thiruvinkural actor will soon entertain audiences via his upcoming horror thriller Demonte Colony 3. Director Ajay Gnanamuthu, who controlled the director’s chair in the previous two parts of the franchise, has crafted the third part. He has co-written the story of the drama with writers Arun Haiku Sakthi and Dhanraj Das. Writer Pattukottai Prabhakar has written dialogues for the movie.
Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, who was seen in the female lead role in the second installment, has reprised her part. Actor Guru Somasundaram is said to have portrayed a menacing character in the movie. The drama was extensively shot in a set created for the venture. The production unit has announced summer 2026 as the release window. They had recently unveiled the first look poster of the flick on social media. Now, we have news that the shoot for the entertainer has been wrapped.
Taking to his official X profile, director Ajay Gnanamuthu himself dropped a special poster along with a link to the wrap announcement video of Demonte Colony 3 and captioned it, “It’s a wrap. The two minutes wrap announcement video opens to an aerial shot of a dilapidated building nearby a shore and zooms into the building with the tag, ‘The creation of darkness.’ It then gives us a glimpse of special moments from the pooja ceremony of the project. Subsequently, it displays the dedication of the team and difficulties they faced in capturing certain complex scenes.
Earlier speaking to a media house, director Ajay Gnanamuthu disclosed, “The project has come along well. Thanks to my producer’s trust in me I enjoy complete creative freedom. I am grateful to Arulnithi as well for his dedication. The audience would have witnessed his evolution as a performer from the first part. His character in this installment will be even more challenging. Many characters from the second part will return with deeper character arcs.”
The casting crew of Demonte Colony 3 also includes actors Archana Ravichandran, Ashiq Hussain, Mohd Ibrahim Kalam Khan, Antti Jaaskelainen, Sreekumar Ganesh, Senthilnathan Jeyabalan, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Vettai Muthukumar, Peter Winfield, Sarjano Khalid, Anburaj, and Theodore Zammit. The musical department of the film has been handed over to music director Sam C S. Cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan has been behind camera for the entertainer.
Editor Kumaresh D has been brought on board to work on the editing division of the drama. Art director G Ramalingam has fashioned the background for the project. Action director Phantom Pradeep has choreographed action blocks for the movie. Demonte Colony 3 is funded by Sudhan Sundaram under the banner house Passion Studios in association with Manish Singhal under the production company Dangal TV in collaboration with Durgaram Choudhary & Neel Choudhary under the production label RDC Media along with R C Rajkumar for the production house Gnanamuthu Pattarai.
On the work front, actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu is now working on his next film Arulvaan helmed by Ganesh Vinayak in which he will be costarring with actors Arav & Baby Krithika, My Dear Sister directed by Prabhu Jeyaram in which he will be collaborating with actresses Mamta Mohandas & Meenakshi Govindarajan, and Pugazhendhi Enum Naan scripted by Karu Pazhaniappan.
On the other hand, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar is now busy shooting for her future drama Maragadha Naanayam 2 crafted by Ark Saravan in which she will be romancing actor Aadhi Pinisetty, a couple of her Telugu projects Irumudi helmed by Shiva Nirvana in which she will be featuring alongside actor Ravi Teja, and Aham Brahmasmi filmed by Srikanth N Reddy in which she will be partnering with actor Manchu Manoj.
