Actor Siddharth lastly entertained audiences in the coming-of-age movie 3 BHK filmed by story teller Sri Ganesh with actors Sarathkumar, Devayani, and Meetha Raghunath in lead roles. The Sivappu Manjal Pachai actor had recently inked his signature for a new project titled Rowdy And Co. Story teller Karthik G Krish, who previously directed actor Siddharth in Takkar, has inked and will be directing the flick.
Actress Raashi Khanna of Sardar fame has been cast as the female lead in the drama. Actor Yogi Babu will be essaying the part of actor Siddharth’s sidekick in the entertainer. The production house is aiming to wrap the shoot for the movie in two schedules. They are planning to bring the film to theaters in summer this year. The makers have now unveiled the first look poster of the venture on social media.
Taking to their official X account, the production team of Passion Studios dropped the first look poster of Rowdy And Co and captioned it, “Recruitment closed. Chaos unlocked. Rowdy And Co First Look Poster
The first look poster of Rowdy And Co has actors Siddharth, Yogi Babu, and a couple of costars dressed in a blue uniform with ID cards hooked to their pants, and each one holding a karambit knife in their hand. The poster sort of has The Expendables style posing but in a sarcastic way.
Star cast of Rowdy And Co also has Telugu actor Sunil and Redin Kingsley in prominent supporting characters. Music composer Revaa has been contracted to work on the musical department of the drama. Cinematographer Aravinnd Singh will be taking care of the cinematography division of the movie.
Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been hired to bring coherence to the project. Art director Arusamy will be erecting sets for the flick. Stunt director Sudesh Kumar will be fashioning action blocks for the project. Rowdy And Co, is funded by Sudhan Sundaram in collaboration with Raja Senthil Kumar under the production banner Passion Studios.
On the professional front, actor Siddharth is presently occupied in his next Hindi web series titled Operation Safed Sagar crafted by story tellers Abhijeet Singh Parmar & Kushal Srivastava in which he will be featuring alongside actors Prajakta Koli, Jimmy Shergill, & Abhay Verma, and an English series Unaccustomed Earth helmed by directors Ritesh Batra & Nisha Ganatra in which he will be associating with actors Freida Pinto and Sanath Saji.
On the other hand, actress Raashi Khanna will soon have her next release in Telugu cinema in Ustaad Bhagat Singh directed by Harish Shankar in which she has joined forces with actors Pawan Kalyan & Sreeleela. The Adanga Maru actress is now simultaneously shooting for multiple Hindi films Talaakhon Mein Ek helmed by director Bodhayan Roychaudhury in which she will be seen alongside actor Vikrant Massey, Bridge scripted by Nidhi Singh Dharma & Nagaraj Diwakar in which she will be sharing screen space with actors Madhavan & Soha Ali Khan, and an untitled project filmed by Anees Bazmee in which she will be teaming up with actors Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.
