Actor Dinesh Ravi had his last outing in the action drama Thandakaaranyam which hit the screens under the direction of story teller Athiyan Athirai with actors Kalaiyarasan and Riythvika in lead roles. The Lubber Pandhu actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming action horror thriller Karuppu Pulsar. Debutant story teller S Murali Krish has written and directed the movie.
Actress Reshma Venkatesh, who played a supporting role in Arjun Das’s Rasavathi, will be making her debut as a female lead in the film. Actor Kalaiyarasan has played a prominent role in the drama. The production house has already announced that the movie will be released in theaters on 30th of January. They have now dropped the trailer of the entertainer on social media.
Taking to his official X handle, story teller M Rajesh shared the trailer of Karuppu Pulsar and captioned it, “The trailer of Gethu Dinesh’s Next Karuppu Pulsar. Movie in theaters on Jan 30th. Directed by Murali Krish, Yasho Entertainment, Film Gecko Entertainment, Dinesh Ravi, Baskar Arumugan, Inbaraj Rajendran, Sasi Dhaksha, T Uday Kumar, Deepak Panneerselvam, Sathish Ramadoss.” Here is the post made by the film maker.
The two minute trailer of Karuppu Pulsar begins with a character expressing fear, “The sound of the pulsar bike is tormenting me.” The shot cuts to a soothsayer warning, “Do not assume that the pulsar bike does not have a life. It also has a life.” We witness the bike operate on its own and attack a few people.
We have the intro of actor Dinesh as a happy go lucky guy. His friend tells him, “No woman is ready to date you. A life without a woman is a total waste dude.” Following which he tells actress Reshma Venkatesh, “I do not have adequate time to zoom in and admire your profile pic.” We then have a few romantic montage shots of the lead pair.
In a scene actor Mansoor Ali Khan tells his gang member, “The basic qualification of a henchman is to know how to kill someone through an accident.” Subsequently, we see actor Dinesh lie to actress Reshma Venkatesh that he owns a black pulsar to impress her. Then he endeavors to somehow buy the bike.
Midway through the trailer, the story shifts to a rural setup where an individual says, “How much would we have toiled for generations to build this Vaadivaasal. How many we would have slayed.” Following which a character fumes, “How dare the cattle rearing fellow to tame our bull?” We then see Dinesh mouthing a punch dialogue, “Does Vaadivaasal belong to you? Who are you to decide who should and should not participate?”
Apart from Dinesh, Kalaiyarasan, and Reshma Venkatesh, the casting unit of Karuppu Pulsar also has actors Mansoor Ali Khan, Madhunika Rajalakshmi, Saravanan Subbaiah, Prankster Rahul, Prince Ajay, Abiramy, Kannan, Super Subbarayan, Adhiyaman, and Nagaichuvaigal Vetri essaying various supporting characters. Music composer Inbaraj Rajendran has been roped in to handle musical instruments for the entertainer.
Cinematographer Baskar Arumugan has taken care of the cinematography division of the movie. Editor Sasi Dhaksha has been brought on board to bring coherence to the flick. Art director G Durairaj has designed the background for the drama. Stunt director Abishek Srinivas has choreographed action blocks for the venture. Karuppu Pulsar is produced by Dr M Sathya under the production company Yasho Entertainment in association with Muruganandam for the production label Film Gecko Entertainment.
On the work side, actor Dinesh Ravi is presently shooting for his future project Vettuvam directed by story teller Pa Ranjith in which he will be sharing screen space with actors Arya, Kalaiyarasan, and Sobhita Dhulipala. Actor Kalaiyarasan will soon have successive releases in Train crafted by Mysskin in which he has costarred with actors Vijay Sethupathi & Shruti Haasan, and Pitha filmed by Aathityaa in which he has partnered with actors Ramesh Thilak and V Mathiyalagan.
On the other hand, actress Reshma Venkatesh will next be seen on screens in Do scripted by director Aswin Kandasamy in which she will be featuring alongside actors Santhosh and Samyuktha Viswanathan.
