Andrea Jeremiah is not only a talented actress but also a singer as well. As it is evident from her latest outing. She is extremely busy promoting her recent film, but she made time to don her role as a singer for Arvind Swami and Amala Paul starrer, Bhaskar Oru Rascal. The film’s music composer Amrish is ecstatic for the gesture.
“The song, Ippodhu Enna Indha Kaadhal Yen Nenjil Parakiradho… has beautiful lyrics by Madhan Karky. It is a romantic duet rendered by Karthik and Andrea. Amala’s character in the film is that of a modern, young mother. We wanted a different voice and thought Andrea’s would suit best. When we approached her, she was already busy with the promotions of her recently-released film in Mumbai. Yet, she came down to Chennai to record for the number. She was on time and easy to work with. She has no airs whatsoever and was friendly,” says Amrish.
The film will also have a song, sung by Shreya Ghoshal. “It is a mother sentiment song, and incidentally, this was the first time my mother wanted to see how the song would be shot and see what her son was up to,” he smiles.
