Vishnu Vishal who was forced to be on a bed rest due to an injury he sustained on the sets of Kaadan directed by Prabhu Solomon is back to shoot after his convalescing period. The actor, who was on a rough patch after delivering back to back failure projects in the likes of Maaveeran Kittu and Katha Nayagan, came to the profitable zone with the block buster success of his psychological thriller drama Ratsasan which received raving reviews and was critically acclaimed by the audience as well as the critics.

The recently released crime thriller Jiivi which had Vettri and Karunakaran in the lead roles enjoyed a terrific opening for a minimalist project and was the trending topic among the film makers for its fable subject and excellent making. The concept of Thodarbiyal introduced in the movie by the writers of the film had a good response from the audience. Now we have reports that actor Vishnu Vishal has signed a project with the director VJ Gopinath and writer Babu Tamizh of the venture. The actor himself has publicized the news on the social media. Taking to his twitter account, the actor shared a picture of him with the director and writer of Jiivi, and wrote, ‘On my parents wedding anniversary, really happy to announce that VV Studios has signed the super combo of Jiivi, director VJ Gopinath, writer Babu Tamizh. Apart from producing the entertainer under his banner VV Studios, the actor will also be playing the lead role in it. The flick is still in the scripting stage and the rest of the cast and technicians that will be working on the project is expected to be announced soon. Well, this surely is an amazing news for the actor as well as his fans who are expecting quality content from the actor after Ratsasan. The actor will be looking forward to consolidate his winning form after the financial pitfall he took in his last outing with Silukkuvarupatti Singam. On the work front, the actor will next be seen on screens in the multi lingual project Kaadan directed by Prabhu Solomon in which he has shared the screens space with the Baahubali baddie Rana Daggubati. The actor is currently busy shooting for Jagajala Killadi under the directorial of Ezhil in which actress Nivetha Pethuraj plays his love interest. Following which he will join the sets of Vikranth’s brother Sanjeev of Thaaka Thaaka fame for a sports drama which will have him and Vikranth in the lead roles. The script of the venture is penned by Vijay Sethupathi. Apart from these projects the actor also has the sequel of his hit science fiction movie Indru Netru Naalai in his kitty.
