The Thalaivan Thalaivii star is now eagerly awaiting the release of his next Tamil Telugu bilingual action thriller SlumDog: 33 Temple Road. Telugu director Puri Jagannadh, who has delivered blockbuster movies like Businessman & Temper, has inked and directed the entertainer.
Bollywood actress Tabu has portrayed the role of a cop in the film. She is set to return to Kollywood after 26 years. Her last appearance in Tamil was in the mystery thriller Snegithiye. The shoot for SlumDog: 33 Temple Road took place in various places in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Assam, and Thailand. The makers had recently unveiled the teaser of the flick in a special event in Chennai. They have now released the teaser on social media.

The two minutes odd trailer of SlumDog: 33 Temple Road opens to the voiceover of actor Vijay Sethupathi, “Our lives are spent seeking shelter under trees when it rains. If you play games with lives like ours, why would we spare you?” Following which we have montage shots in typical Puri Jagannadh-esque style of violence establishing a larger-than-life image for actor Vijay Sethupathi’s character. Actress Tabu is seen as a cop trying to reinforce law and order in the state.
Star cast of SlumDog: 33 Temple Road also comprises Kannada superstar Duniya Vijay Kumar, Samyuktha Menon, Zarina Wahab, VTV Ganesh, Baragi Vikram Reddy, and Brahmaji. Music director Harshavardhan Rameshwar has been hired to handle musical instruments for the flick. Cinematographer Sam K Naidu has overseen the cinematography division of the venture. Art directors Ashish Teja & Jonny Shaik have worked in tandem to design background for the venture. Stunt director Stunt Silva has fashioned action blocks for the movie. SlumDog: 33 Temple Road is funded by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under their home banner Puri Connects, in association with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla under the production label JB Motion Pictures.
On the work front, actor Vijay Sethupathi will next be seen in a cameo in Jailer 2 helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar in which he has teamed up with actors Rajinikanth & S J Suryah, Train helmed by Mysskin in which he has starred with actors Ira Dayanand & Narain, Pisasu 2 also crafted by Mysskin in which he has performed alongside actresses Andrea Jeremiah & Poorna.
