Then went on to play supporting roles in a handful of Tamil projects. Following it, she made her debut in the Malayalam film industry through the movie Proprietors: Kammath & Kammath. Her first break as a lead heroine came her way from the Kannada film industry in the film Bangara s/o Bangarada Manushya in which she shared the screen space with actor Shiva Rajkumar. She shot to fame for her role in the television serial Nayagi which landed her in a good part in director Magizh Thirumeni’s crime thriller Thadam.

The Iravukku Aayiram Kangal star along with acting has stayed focused on her studies as well, and now has surprised us with a doctorate to her name in the field of stem cell biology. The actress is set to go all the way to United States of America for a pursue post doctorial scientist position. The actress herself has shared the news on social media.
Taking to her Instagram handle the actress shared a bunch of pictures from her convocation ceremony, and wrote, “5th March 2022, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai: The eye hospital where I worked for the last ten years. The one achievement I am incredibly proud. Fulfilling the purpose of coming to Chennai – getting a doctorate and becoming a scientist. I had to achieve this goal through hardship, determination, and sacrifices. I understand the responsibility of being in this position, and I will continue to contribute my best to science and society with utmost sincerity. As I will be heading to the United States to pursue a post-doctoral scientist position, I am forever grateful to Sankara Nethralaya eye hospital.” Then the actress mentioned and thanked her professors, faculties, and colleagues who were supportive and helpful on her journey.
