Actor Vishnu Vishal’s younger brother Rudra will soon make his debut in Kollywood in the upcoming romantic movie Oho Enthan Baby. His brother Vishnu Vishal will be seen in an extended cameo part in the venture. Story teller Krishnakumar Ramakumar, who directed the short ‘Kaadhal Enbadhu Kannula Heart Irukkura Emoji’ in the anthology drama Modern Love Chennai, has inked and crafted the film. Writer Mukesh Manjunath has conceptualized the story of the project.
Bollywood actress Mithila Palkar will open her account in Tamil cinema with her female lead role in the entertainer. Actress Anju Kurian of Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal fame has essayed the second female lead role in the flick. The production house has already announced that the movie will be released in theaters worldwide on 11th of July. Earlier this year the makers had shared the first glimpse from the flick on social media. They have now launched the trailer of the drama.
Taking to his official X profile, actor Soori unveiled a special poster along with a link to the trailer of Oho Enthan Baby and captioned it, “Presenting the trailer of Oho Enthan Baby – the romantic entertainer in theatres on July 11th! A Jen Martin Musical. OEB. OEB from July 11. Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar. Produced by – Vishnu Vishal Studioz, Vishnu Vishal, Romeo Pictures, Raahul.” Here is the post made by the actor.
Two minute trailer of Oho Enthan Baby starts with a voiceover, “Sir, you asked for a love story, right? It is ready now.” We have the intro of actor Vishnu Vishal who says, “Shall we start?” Then we have a few montage shots of debutant Rudra establishing him as a carefree youth. In a shot we see him describe the type of woman he wants as a partner, “Like Haasini from Santhosh Subramaniyam, like Diya from Kireedam, like Malini from Vaaranam Ayiram. I need this kind of life partner, uncle.” To which he retorts, “You will not meet anyone matching these conditions in this world.”
The second half of the trailer turns serious with actor Redin Kingsley expressing, “The story is going too smoothly. There is no conflict at all.” To which Rudra replies, “There is a conflict sir.” The trailer ends with a quip where actor Vishnu Vishal tells his brother, “God’s screenplay will be far better than what we write.” To which we have a shot of director Mysskin responding, “Hey, who is the director here? You or me?”
Beside Rudra, Mithila Palkar, and Anju Kurian, star cast of Oho Enthan Baby also has actors Karunakaran, Mysskin, Redin Kingsley, Vaibhavi Tandle, Balaji Sakthivel, Nivashini, Nirmal Pillai, Sujatha Babu, Arun Kurian, Geetha Kailasam, Kasturi, and Vijayasarathy essaying various supporting roles. Music composer Jen Martin has scored music for the film. Two songs ‘Oho Enthan Baby’ and ‘Natchathira’ are out from the album.
Cinematographer Harish Kannan has overseen the cinematography division of the drama. Editor R C Pranav has been contracted to work on the editing department of the entertainer. Art director Rajesh has erected sets for the flick. Stunt director Rugger Ram has fashioned action blocks for the film.
Oho Enthan Baby is backed by Vishnu Vishal himself under the production label Vishnu Vishal Studioz in affiliation with Raahul for the production banner Romeo Pictures along with K V Durai for the production house D Company. Oho Enthan Baby will be available for streaming on Netflix OTT streaming platform post its release.
On the professional side, actress Mithila Palkar will soon have a release in Hindi via Happy Patel Dangerous Jasoos helmed and headlined by Vir Das. She is presently working on her upcoming Bollywood flick Bhooth Bangla crafted by Priyadarshan in which she will be performing alongside actors Akshay Kumar, Tabu, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
On the other hand, actress Anju Kurian will soon be seen on screens in Tamil in Wolf directed by Vinoo Venkatesh in which she has collaborated with actor Prabhu Deva.
