Sundar C Dubs For The Sequel Of Thalainagaram!

Director Sunder C who was busy with directing films returned to acting after a gap with Pattampoochi which hit the screens last month under the direction of story teller Badri with actors Jai and Honey Rose in vital lead roles. The venture opened up to negative reviews. As a result it did not fare well in the box office. The Veerappu actor has now moved on to his next project which is set to be the sequel of his superhit crime drama Thalainagaram. The first installment of the entertainer was directed by filmmaker Suraj. Surprisingly, for the second actor Sundar C has decided to go with director V. Z. Dhorai. Actress Palak Lalwani will be seen in the female lead role. The project went on floors in the beginning of last year and was finally wrapped in the month of June this year, and sent to the post production. 

Now, we have news that actor Sundar C has begun to dub for his part in the flick. After the dubbing there are other aspects of the post production that needs to be worked on. It is said that the post production work for the movie has been happening at a slow pace, and it would take roughly around a couple more months to get done with it. The production unit is in plans to bring the film to the theaters by the end of this year for Christmas holidays. 

The first part of the Thalainagaram franchise which was released back in the year 2006, had actor Sundar C in the role of a young man who tries to put his criminal life behind and attempts to make an honest living. The entertainer which hit the screens as an underdog venture garnered the attention of the audience through word of mouth, and enjoyed a good reception. Now, nearly 16 years later, the actor has decided to do a sequel for it. It would be interesting to see what character the actor plays in the sequel because at the end of the first part, actor Sundar C’s character will be killed by the cops. The production unit has gone mum on whether there will be a connection between the two flicks or will the second be a different story altogether.  

Apart from actors Sundar C and Palak Lalwani, the casting of Thalainagaram 2 has actors Vadivelu, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiha, Ravi Maria, Prabhakar, Aayira, and Gopi Gpr, essaying various vital roles. The music for the entertainer has been composed by music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematographer E Krishnasamy has been behind the camera for the flick. The editing division of the movie has been taken care of by editor Sudharshan. Art director A. K. Muthu has created sets for the project. The entertainer is funded by director V. Z. Dhorai himself along with S. M. Prabhakaran under the production house Right Eye Theaters. 

On the work front, actor Sunder C who was last seen in the psychological crime thriller Pattampoochi is currently busy shooting for One 2 One helmed by director K Thirugnanam in which he will be sharing the screen space with actress Ragini Dwivedi. Apart from these ventures, the actor has Vallaan directed by filmmaker Mani Seiyon in which he will be seen alongside actresses Tanya Hope, Chandhini Tamilarasan, Hebah Patel, and Abhirami Venkatachalam in the post production getting fine-tuned for release.
