Rajinikanth Unveils Motion Poster Of Shanthnu Bhagyaraj’s Oru Kaidhiyin Diary!
Actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj was last seen on screens in the Tamil Malayalam bilingual action entertainer Balti scripted by Unni Sivalingam with actors Shane Nigam and Preethi Asrani in the lead roles. The Aayiram Vilakku actor has inked his signature for his next investigative thriller drama christened Oru Kaidhiyin Diary. Story teller Suseenthiran, who is known for movies like Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu and Naan Mahaan Alla, is set to direct the movie. The story credit has also been attributed to him.
Actor and politician Seeman will be seen in a crucial role in the entertainer. The motion poster launch function of Oru Kaidhiyin Diary recently took place in Chennai. Actor Rajinikanth graced the event and launched the motion poster. The production house has now released the motion poster of the flick on social media.

One minute odd motion poster of Oru Kaidhiyin Diary has actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj as a cop and a shot of actor Seeman ferociously hacking someone to death. Oru Kaidhiyin Diary is touted to be an investigative thriller set in 2001 against the backdrop of Madurai, predicated on a murder investigation. It also explores the ethics of capital punishment and the complex relationship between a father and son.
Interestingly, Oru Kaidhiyin Diary is the title of the 1985 classic directed by Shanthnu Bhagyaraj’s late father Bhagyaraj with actors Kamal Haasan, Radha, and Revathi in the lead roles. The casting team is currently zeroing in on the rest of the artists that would round out the cast. An official artist lineup for the film is expected to be released shortly.
Music director Sam C S has been roped in to compose music for the drama. The production unit is yet to finalize other technicians. Oru Kaidhiyin Diary is produced by Kannan Ravi along with Deepak Ravi under the production label Kannan Ravi Groups.
On the work side, actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj is gearing up for successive releases in Magenta helmed by story teller Bharath Mohan in which he will be seen alongside actress Anjali P Nair, and Amali Thumali crafted by director K S Adiyaman in which he has shared screen space with actors Nakhul, Swathi Reddy, and Nikesha Patel.
On the other hand, actor Seeman is currently busy shooting for his next flick Ameera filmed by Ra Subramanian in which he will be teaming up with actors R K Suresh & Anu Sithara, and Mayandi Kudumbathar 2 created by K P Jagan in which he will be joining forces with actor Ponvannan, Singampuli, & G M Kumar.
