Prabhudeva’s Next With Vadivelu Gets An Intriguing Title!

Actor Prabhudeva lastly entertained audiences via the Bollywood film Badass Ravi Kumar crafted by Keith Gomes with actors Himesh Reshammiya and Simona J in lead roles. The Bagheera actor is currently engaged in his next flick tentatively christened Production No 4. Debutant film maker Sam Rodrigues, who directed actor Prabhudeva in Musasi, is crafting the flick. Dialogue credit has been accredited to writer Vignesh Jeyapal. 

Actor Vadivel has been cast as the second lead in the drama. The duo is collaborating nearly after 20 years. Actor Bablu Prithviraj will be essaying a pivotal part in the entertainer. We had recently reported that the shoot for the venture has begun. We now have news that the movie has been titled Bang Bang. The production unit themselves has publicized the news on social media.  

Taking to his official X account, actor S J Suryah launched the title promo of Bang Bang and worded, “When the world ends . . . legends rise – It is time to enter the Z-Verse. Extremely elated to present the title look of Kannan Ravi Group’s next big adventure. Things are about to go Bang Bang! A PD x VV world begins. Produced by Kannan Ravi Groups, Kannan Ravi. Co-Produced by Deepak Ravi. Starring Prabhudeva x Vadivelu. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Directed by Sam Rodrigues. Kannan Ravi Groups.” Here is the post made by the actor. 

One minute odd promo of Bang Bang begins with a melancholy background score to an aerial view of a dense forest. The music shifts to a deafening beat with zombies running around. Finally, we have the intro of both Prabhudeva & Vadivel decked up and walking in chic fashion carrying weapons. The promo ends with them shooting while a voiceover says, “The clock is ticking.”

Bang Bang is touted to be an action-adventure drama which revolves around a zombie outbreak. Actors Prabhudeva and Vadivel have regaled Tamil audience with their spectacular chemistry, comical expressions, and dialogue delivery in Kaadhalan, Love Birds, Raasaiyya, Kaathala Kaathala, Mr. Romeo, Manadhai Thirudivittai, and Engal Anna. 

After taking up director’s chair, Prabhudeva even helmed Vadivelu in Pokkiri and Villu. So, there are high expectations to see how their new experimentation in Bang Bang turns out. The shoot for the film is currently underway on a set specially erected for the movie. The production team has plans to wrap the shoot by the end of summer this year.  

The casting crew is yet to finalize the list of artists that would round out the cast. Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to handle musical gears for the flick. Cinematographer H C Venu is shouldering the camera for the entertainer. Editor Anthony has been bestowed with the responsibility to chop and patch to the drama. 

Art director T Ramalingam is erecting sets for the movie. Action master Peter Hein is choreographing action moves for the venture. Bang Bang is produced by Kannan Ravi along with Deepak Ravi under the production label Kannan Ravi Groups.  

On the work side, actor Prabhudeva will next have a release in Tamil via Moonwalk crafted by Manoj Nirmala Sreedharan in which he has partnered with actors Yogi Babu and Aju Varghese. 

The Devi actor is presently working on his next drama Singanallur Signal directed by J M Raja Saravanan in which he will be performing alongside actress Bhavya Trikha, Wolf filmed by Vinu Venkatesh in which he will be sharing screen space with actresses Anasuya Bharadwaj, Anju Kurian, & Raai Laxmi, Musasi scripted by Sam Rodrigues in which he will be collaborating with actress Leona Lishoy, a Malayalam movie Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer directed by Rojin Thomas in which he will be costarring with actors Jayasurya & Anushka Shetty, and a Hindi project Maharagni: Queen of Queens scripted by Charan Tej Uppalapati in which he will be associating with actress Kajol.
