Multi Talented artist Sasikumar last graced the silver screen in Nandan directed by Era Saravanan with actress Suruthi Periyasamy as female lead. The Kombu Vacha Singamda actor will soon have his next release in the upcoming flick christened Tourist Family. Debutant story teller Abishan Jeevinth has penciled and directed the drama. Veteran actress Simran, who is currently the talk of the town after her cameo in Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly, has played the role of actor Sasikumar’s wife in the movie. Actor Yogi Babu has essayed a key part in the project. The film was entirely shot in a single 35-day schedule in Chennai on the sets erected specially for the drama. The makers have publicized that the film will hit theaters worldwide on 1st of May.
Earlier the production unit had shared the title teaser and first single ‘Mugai Mazhai’ from the movie on social media. They have now launched the second single from the flick. Taking to their official X handle, production team of Million Dollar Studios unveiled a short clip along with a link to the second single ‘Aachaley’ from the film Tourist Family and worded, “’Aachaley’ – The groovy track from Tourist Family is making waves among the kids for this summer vacation vibes. Music director Sean Roldan has composed music for the entertainer. He has also crooned the track. Aswin George has mixed and mastered the number. Lyricist Mohan Rajan has written the lyrics of the song. Tourist Family is touted to be a black comedy movie. The title teaser of the flick showed humorous events unfold when a Tamil family in Sri Lanka tries to secretly flee the nation. Beside Sasikumar, Simran, and Yogi babu, the cast of Tourist Family also has actors M S Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bagavathi Perumal, Sreeja Ravi, Sha Ra, Sankar, Ravi Mariya, Mithun Jai, Kamalesh, and Elango Kumaravel in various supporting roles.
Cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan has been behind camera for the movie. Editor Barath Vikraman has been brought on board to bring coherence to the flick. Art director Raj Kamal has fashioned sets for the project. Stunt master John Mark has choreographed action blocks for the venture. Tourist Family is funded by Nazerath Pasilian and Magesh Raj Pasilian under their home production Million Dollar Studios along with Yuvaraj Ganesan for his production house MRP Entertainment.
On the work side, actor Sasi Kumar has a pipeline of successive releases via Naa Naa scripted by director N V Nirmal in which he has performed alongside actor Sarathkumar, Freedom directed by storyteller Sathyasiva in which he has associated with actress Lijo Mol Jose, Evidence helmed by Ranjith Manikandan, and Pagaivanukku Arulvai crafted by Anees in which he has shared screen space with actresses Vani Bhojan and Bindhu Madhavi. The Kaari star is currently occupied in his next projects My Lord crafted by Raju Murugan in which he will be romancing actress Chaithra J Achar, and untitled venture filmed by M Guru in which he will be seen alongside actors Bharath, Sathyaraj, Megha Shetty, and Malavika. On the other hand, presently actress Simran is engaged in her upcoming female centric film The Last One scripted by Lokesh Kumar.
