Actor Arulnithi had his last outing in the likes of the action movie Kazhuvethi Moorkkan which hit the theaters under directorial of story teller Harish Prabhu with actress Aathmika in the female lead part. The entertainer opened to mixed reviews from both critics and audience. Hence, could not draw much footfalls to the theaters. The Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum actor has now put that behind him, and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming drama christened DeMonte Colony 2. Story teller Ajay R Gnanamuthu who had helmed the first installment of the franchise has written and directed the film. He has co written the script of the flick along with writers Venkatesh, and Rajavel. The movie which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony some time ago is now wrapped, and is in the post production stage shaping up for release.
The production house has now released behind the scenes making videos of the entertainer on social media along with its release month. DeMonte Colony 2 is all set to hit the theaters in the month of September this year. Actor Arulnithi himself has shared the video. Taking to his official twitter page, the actor dropped the making video and wrote, “Peek into the journey to darkness!!! Presenting you the exclusive journey of DeMonte Colony 2. Ready to haunt you this September. Vengeance of the unholy. Darkness will rule. 2023 will be dark.” Here is the post made by the actor.

Nearly two minutes long behind the scenes making the video opens to a posh bungalow. Then cuts to a scene being shot underwater in a swimming pool. The actor of the scene looks menacing. The making video gives us a glimpse of its world and the amount of work that has gone into making the entertainer. The production house had recently released a special promotion poster which had the tagline ‘Vengeance of the Unholy.’ The tagline garnered the attention of the audience. The making video has further hyped expectations on the venture. Especially among lovers of the horror genre. The production house has plans to launch the flick as a pan Indian drama in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The production unit is currently working on blocking a date in the month of September to release the date. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be made soon.
Apart from actor Arulnithi, DeMonte Colony 2 has actress Priya Bhavani Shankar depicting the female lead role. The casting division of the entertainer has actors Antii Jaaskelainen, Tsering Dorjee, Arun Pandian, Muthukumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Sarjano Khalid, and Archana R portraying various other supporting roles. Music director Sam C S has been roped in to score music for the flick. Cinematographer Harish Kannan has taken care of the cinematography department of the drama. Editor Kumaresh D has been bestowed with the responsibility to trim the project. Art director Ravi Pandi has designed the background for the film. Stunt master Ganesh has choreographed action moves for the venture. The drama is produced by Vijay Subramaniam along with R C Rajkumar for the banner label White Nights Entertainment.
On the work front, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar who was last seen on screens in the romantic thriller flick Bommai is currently busy shooting for Indian 2 under the direction of story teller Shankar in which she will be sharing screen space with veteran actor Kamal Hassan, and for a project tentatively christened as Vishal 34 crafted by film maker Hari in which she will be seen alongside actor Vishal, and for a Telugu web series Dootha scripted by filmmaker Vikram Kumar in which she will be co starring with actors Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, and Parvathy Thiruvothu. Apart from these dramas, the actress has her debut Telugu movie titled Zebra helmed by director Eashvar Karthic in which she has collaborated with actor Satya Dev in the post-production stage getting fine tuned for release.
