Actor and director Sundar C was last seen on screens in the action crime drama Thalainagaram 2 which hit the theaters under the direction of V. Z. Dhorai with actress Palak Lalwani in the female lead role. The entertainer did not live up to the expectations of the audience. Thus, it fell flat in the box office. The Muthina Kathirikai actor has now put that behind him, and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming flick titled Vallan. Actresses Tanya Hope, and Hebah Patel have essayed the female lead roles. Storyteller Mani Seiyon has written and helmed the movie. He has sought the assistance of writer Aravindh Sachidanandham in shaping the script. The project which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony a while back, is now wrapped, and is in the post production stage shaping up for release.
The production unit has now released the trailer of the flick on social media. Actor Arya has shared the trailer. Taking to his official twitter handle, the actor dropped a poster from the drama along with a link to the trailer of Vallan, and wrote, “Here’s the trailer of Vallan. Two minutes odd trailer cut opens to an aerial shot of a container storage facility, and cuts to a voiceover, “This is a high profile and sensitive case. My dignity rest on it. That is why I have given it to you, as you would finish it much earlier compared to others.” We have the introduction of the actor who punches a henchman through a wall. Following which we witness the actor saying, “You know it yourself, how significant this case is to me.” Then we have a character mouthing, “It is an issue only if you two get married. Why do not you guys try Bollywood style? Living together.” Then we are given a glimpse in to the romantic part. The scene cuts to actor Sundar C announcing, “My suspicion is on someone else. Killers do not have a separate ethnicity. It is someone’s father, mother, friend, son, or daughter that turn into a murder. Instead of overlooking that they would not have committed the murder, why should not have they committed this murder is how a cop should approach a case.” The production house is eyeing to bring the entertainer to big screens in the month of August. They are currently working to reserve a date for release. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon.
Apart from actors Sundar C, Tanya Hope, and Hebah Patel, the casting division of the drama has actress Chandhini Tamilarasan, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Kamal Kamaraj, Thalaivasal Vijay, Jayakumar, and TSK portraying various other supporting parts. Music director Santhosh Dhayanidhi has handled musical instruments for the movie. Cinematographer Mani Perumal has been behind camera for the film. Editor Dinesh Ponraj has been brought on board to edit the project. Stunt master Vicky has choreographed action blocks for the flick. Art director Sakthee Venkatraj M has designed the background for the drama. The entertainer is produced by V R Manikandaraman under the production company VR Della Film Factory Pvt Ltd.
On the work front, actor Sunder C who had his last outing in the action crime movie Thalainagaram 2 is currently busy shooting for his next venture Aranmanai 4 under his own direction in which he will be seen alongside actresses Tamannaah Bhatia and Rashi Khanna, and for One 2 One directed by filmmaker K Thirugnanam in which he will be sharing screen space with actress Ragini Dwivedi. Actress Tanya Hope who was last seen in Tamil cinema in Kulasami is currently busy shooting for her upcoming drama titled Kick helmed by storyteller Prashant Raj in which she will be collaborating with actor Santhanam. Apart from this flick, the actress has Golmaal filmed by director Pon Kumaran in which she has co starred with actors Jiiva, and Shiva in the post production stage getting fine tuned for release. On the other hand, actress Hebah Patel who was last seen in Tamil in Thirumanam Enum Nikkah is getting ready for the release of her next Telugu movie christened Telisinavaallu scripted by director Viplove Koneti in which she has romanced actor V K Naresh.
