‘Mittai Mazhai’ First Single From Dulquer Salmaan’s AOT Is Here!
Actor Dulquer Salmaan was last seen on screens in Tamil in the period crime thriller film Kaantha created by Selvamani Selvaraj with actress Bhagyashri Borse in the female lead roles. The Hey Sinamika actor is now gearing up for the release of his next Tamil Telugu bilingual romantic entertainer AOT. The Telugu edition of the movie is titled Aakasamlo Oka Tara. Telugu director Pavan Sadineni will make his debut as a story teller in Kollywood with the drama.
Writers Vasanth Jurru and Ganga Raju Gunnam have helped develop the story and structure the flow of the film. Actress Satvika Veeravalli is set to make her debut in Tamil cinema with her female lead role in the drama. Actress Shruti Haasan has played the second female lead in the entertainer. The project was extensively shot across several locations in Andhra Pradesh. The production house has already begun to promote the venture. As part of it, they have now released the first single from the album on social media.
Taking to his official X profile, actor Dulquer Salmaan himself dropped a couple of special posters along with a link to the first single ‘Mittai Mazhai’ from AOT and worded, “A little piece of our hearts . . . Singer Ramya Behara has sung the song. Lyricist Balaji Venugopal has penned the lyrics of the track. Dance choreographer Ram has designed dance moves for the song. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has scored music for the entertainer. He is collaborating with actor Dulquer Salmaan for the second time after their successful album in Lucky Baskhar.
Apart from Dulquer Salmaan, Shruti Haasan, and Satvika Veeravalli, the star cast of the movie also has actors Ruhani Sharma, Keshav Deepak, Jason Shah, David Nebel, Mayo Hitomi, Zachary Coffin, and Olga Yumasheva essaying various supporting roles. Cinematographer Sujith Sarang has overseen the cinematography department of the movie. Editor Praveen K L has been brought on board to work on the editing division of the drama.
Art director Vamsi Krishna has fashioned sets for the project. Stunt master Sathish has engineered action blocks in the drama. The entertainer is produced by Allu Aravind under the production label Geetha Arts, in partnership with Aswani Dutt and Swapna Dutt under the production banner Swapna Cinema, along with Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam for the production house Lightbox Media. Netflix OTT platform has bagged the post theatrical digital streaming rights of the flick.
On the work front, actor Dulquer Salmaan is expecting successive releases across industry via the Malayalam movie I’m Game filmed by Nahas Hidhayath in which he has shared screen space with actors Kayadu Lohar, Samyuktha Viswanathan, & Kathir, and a Telugu flick Sri Sri crafted by Ravibabu Nelakuditi in which he has costarred with actress Pooja Hegde. The O Kadhal Kanmani actor is now focused on his next Malayalam film Lokah Chapter 2 helmed by Dominic Arun in which he will be teaming up with actors Kalyani Priyadarshan and Tovino Thomas.
On the other hand, actress Shruthi Haasan is awaiting the release of her next Tamil flick Train created by Mysskin in which she has starred alongside actor Vijay Sethupathi. The Jana Nayagan actress is currently busy shooting for her future Telugu movie Salaar 2 crafted by Prashanth Neel in which she will be featuring with actors Prabhas & Prithviraj Sukumaran, and a Hindi venture Rashna: The Ray Of Light directed by Vibha Singh in which she will be collaborating with actors Sonali Bendre, Nargis Fkhri, & Kay Kay Menon.
