First Look Poster Of Sasikumar’s Vadhandhi: The Mystery of Mani Is Here!
Actor Sasikumar had a release earlier this year in the political satire film My Lord filmed by Raju Murugan with actress Chaithra J Achar in the female lead role. The Tourist Family actor will soon have a release in the digital space via the upcoming mystery crime thriller titled Vadhandhi: The Mystery of Mani. Story teller Andrew Louis, who was in the director’s chair for the first installment of the franchise, has penned and directed the second season as well.
Actress Anagha Maruthora of Kadaisi Ulaga Por fame will be seen in the female lead role in the project. The shoot for the series took place in various locations in and around Madurai and Kanchipuram. Meanwhile, we now have news that the series will be premiering on 7th of August in Amazon Prime Video. It will be available for streaming in languages Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The makers themselves have revealed the news on social media along with the first look poster.

Vadhandhi First Look Poster
The first look poster has actor Sasikumar standing and looking up at the objects that were used to commit a crime in ethereal light. Vadhandhi: The Mystery of Mani follows an SI, Mossa Raaza, who solves a false political case but soon realizes he may have wrongly imprisoned an innocent man, dragging him back into a web of dark secrets. The first installment of the series revolved around an investigation into the disappearance of a young girl which leads to shocking revelation. The series had actors S J Suryah, Laila, Nassar, and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy in lead roles.
Earlier, speaking to a leading media house producer Gayatri stated, “Just like the first season, Vadhandhi season 2 will have a gripping mystery, truth, and red herrings while conveying a story that will be both emotionally compelling and riveting. Director Andrew Louis has built a captivating story that honors the franchise’s roots while steering the narrative into a bold and exciting new direction. Actor Sasikumar and the entire cast have done a wonderful job bringing true depth to the story.”
Apart from Sasikumar and Anagha Maruthora, the star cast of the series also has actors Aparna Das, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Nandhakumar, Yashwanth, Revathy S, Gowtham Selvaraj, and Guha essaying various supporting roles. Music director Simon K King has orchestrated the musical score for the entertainer. Cinematographer Saravanan Ramasamy has taken care of the cinematography division of the project.
Editor Richard Kevin has been trusted with the editing department of the entertainer. Art director Arun Venjaramoodu has designed the background for the venture. Action director Dinesh Subbarayan has engineered action moves in the project. The series is backed by directors Pushkar and Gayatri under the production label Wallwatcher Films.
On the work front, actor Sasikumar is staring at consecutive releases in Pagaivanuku Arulvai created by Anees in which he has teamed up with actresses Vani Bhojan & Bindhu Madhavi, Evidence directed by Ranjith Manikandan, and Naa Naa scripted by N V Nirmal in which he has worked with actor Sarathkumar. The Tharai Thappattai actor is currently working on his next films Paramaguru crafted by Jiyen Krishnakumar, two of his untitled movies under the direction of Dharani Rajendran in which he will be collaborating with actors Ashok Selvan & Sshivada, and a venture filmed by M Guru in which he will be featuring with actors Bharath, Megha Shetty, Malavika, & Sathyaraj.
