First Single ‘Mandaadi Mandaadi’ From Soori’s Mandaadi Is A Banger!

Actor Soori last entertained audiences in the action-comedy flick Maaman scripted by Prasanth Pandiyaraj with actress Aishwarya Lekshmi as female lead. The Kottukkaali actor is now enthusiastically anticipating his next outing in the sports action film Mandaadi. Director Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, who delivered a hit on his debut film Selfie, has directed the drama. He has sought the assistance of screenwriters R Mohana Vasanthan, Ameer Jamal Khan, and Thiral Sankar to write the movie. 

Actress Mahima Nambiar of Iravukku Aayiram Kangal fame has depicted the female lead role in the flick. Mandaadi was shot in multiple vicinities of Thondi Beach in Ramanathapuram, and few coastal zones of Tamil Nadu. The entertainer is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on 10th of September. The production house has been promoting the drama by releasing the first look poster and a character introduction video. They have now dropped the first single from the album on social media. 

Taking to his official X account, actor Soori himself shared a small clip along with a link to the first single ‘Mandaadi Mandaadi’ from Mandaadi and wrote, “Now it’s your turn to own the beat. Singers Vaaheesan Rasaiya and V M Mahalingam have lent their voice for the track. Vaaheesan Rasaiya has also penned the lyrics for the number. The song is mixed and mastered by Jehovahson Alghar. Dance master Azar has choreographed dance moves for the track. Actor Soori has nailed the hook steps in the song with brilliant flair. Music director G V Prakash Kumar has handled musical gear for the film. 

The character intro video presented actor Suhas as the ‘Face the fury of Sammaatti clan’ who goes by the name ‘Saattapuli.’ Besides Soori and Mahima Nambiar, the casting team of the venture also has actors Suhas, Mithun Jai Sankar, Bala Saravanan, Ravindra Vijay, Krish Hassan, Sathyaraj, Stun Siva, Rajesh Gopishetty, Achyuth Kumar, Aadukalam Murugadoss, Phathmen, Ramachandran, Rajapandi, and Sachana Namidass in various supporting characters. Cinematographer S R Kathir has overseen the visuals and camera division for the drama. 

Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been roped in to chop and patch the entertainer. Art director S J Ram has erected sets for the venture. Stunt directors Dhilip Subbarayan, Peter Hein, and Mahesh Mathew have designed action moves in the flick. The movie is produced by Elred Kumar along with V Manikandan under the banner house RS Infotainment. Netflix OTT platform has acquired the streaming rights for the film. 

On the work side, actor Soori is simultaneously expecting his next release in Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai created by Ram in which he will be seen alongside actors Nivin Pauly & Anjali. The Viduthalai actor is presently occupied in his future untitled flick directed by R Ravikumar, Maattram helmed by Anjathe Sridhar in which he will be working with actors Appukutty & Saalai Ravi, and Iraivan Miga Periyavan scripted by Ameer Sultan in which he will be partnering with actors Mirnaa & Karu Pazhaniappan. 

On the other hand, actress Mahima Nambiar will soon have her next Tamil release in Bell Bottom filmed by Sathyasiva in which she has starred with actor Krishna, and a Telugu release in Comrade Kalyan crafted by Janakiram Marella in which she has joined forces with actor Sree Vishnu. The Asura Guru actress is now focused on her upcoming untitled Tamil movie directed by Pa Vijay in which she will be collaborating with actor Prabhu Deva.
