Actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu lastly had a release in the digital space via the romantic sports action movie Rambo crafted by M Muthaiah with actress Tanya Ravichandran as female lead. The Diary actor is enthusiastically expecting his next release in the horror thriller Demonte Colony 3. Director Ajay Gnanamuthu, who helmed the first two installments in the franchise, has directed the third version as well. 

He has worked with writers Arun Haiku Sakthi and Dhanraj Das to develop the story of the entertainer. Writer Pattukottai Prabhakar has penned the film’s dialogue. Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar, who was part of the second installment of the drama, reprised her role in the third part. Actor Guru Somasundaram is touted to have played an unsettling and sinister role in the flick. 

Demonte Colony 3 was primarily shot on a set erected specifically for the film. The makers have already announced that the movie will be arriving in theaters on 10th of September. Now we have news that the drama has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the censor board. The production house themselves has announced the news on social media. 

Taking to their official X account, the production team of Passion Studios shared a small clip from Demonte Colony 3 and wrote, “The darkness is back. Demonte Colony 3 Officially Censored ‘A’. Not for the faint-hearted. Brace yourself. The darkness returns on September 10. Earlier talking to a media house, director Ajay Gnanamuthu disclosed, “The project has come along well. Thanks to my producer’s trust in me I enjoyed complete creative freedom. I am grateful to Arulnithi as well for his dedication. The audience would have witnessed his evolution as a performer from the first part. His character in this installment will be even more challenging. Many characters from the second part will return with deeper character arcs.” 

The casting team of Demonte Colony 3 also comprises actors Archana Ravichandran, Sreekumar Ganesh, Ashiq Hussain, Mohd Ibrahim Kalam Khan, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Antti Jaaskelainen, Senthilnathan Jeyabalan, Sarjano Khalid, Vettai Muthukumar, Theodore Zammit, Peter Winfield, and Anburaj. 

Music director Sam C S has orchestrated the musical score for the project. Cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan has headed the cinematography division of the flick. Editor Kumaresh D has been bestowed with the responsibility to chop and patch the movie. Art director G Ramalingam has erected sets for the entertainer. Stunt master Phantom Pradeep has designed action blocks for the venture. 

Demonte Colony 3 is produced by Sudhan Sundaram under the production house Passion Studios in partnership with Manish Singhal under the production label Dangal TV in affiliation with Durgaram Choudhary & Neel Choudhary under the production company RDC Media along with R C Rajkumar for the production banner Gnanamuthu Pattarai.  

On the work side, actor Arulnithi Tamilarasu is now focused on his next film My Dear Sister created by Prabhu Jeyaram in which he will be sharing screen space with actresses Mamta Mohandas & Meenakshi Govindarajan, and Pugazhendhi Enum Naan crafted by Karu Pazhaniappan. 

On the other hand, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar will soon have her next release in Telugu cinema via Irumudi directed by Shiva Nirvana in which she has co-starred with actor Ravi Teja. The Bommai actress is now working on her next Tamil project Maragadha Naanayam 2 scripted by Ark Saravan in which she will be joining forces with actor Aadhi Pinisetty, and a Telugu flick Aham Brahmasmi helmed by Srikanth N Reddy in which she will be teaming up with actor Manchu Manoj.
