Actor Dhanush K Raja lastly entertained audiences in Bollywood in the romantic movie Tere Ishk Mein filmed by Aanand L Rai with actress Kriti Sanon in the female lead part. The Raayan actor is now getting ready for the release of his upcoming entertainer Kara. Director Vignesh Raja, who attained limelight with his directorial Por Thozhil, has helmed the drama. Writer Alfred Prakash has helped shape the movie’s flow.
Actress Mamitha Baiju of Dude fame has depicted the female lead role in the entertainer. Malayalam actor Jayaram will be seen as a crucial character in the venture. The production house has already announced that the movie will be released in theaters worldwide on 30th of April. Recently they had dropped the title teaser and character introductory posters on social media. They have now shared a single from the album.

Lyricist and singer Dhanush K Raja has written lyrics and lent his voice for the number. The song is mixed by Jehovahson Alghar and mastered by Anthony Karuna. Music composer G V Prakash Kumar has scored music for the film. Already a track ‘Vaaya Ey Karasaami’ in the vocals of Arunraja Kamaraj, Satyan, Anthony Daasan, & V M Mahalingam lyrics written by Arunraja Kamaraj is out from the album.
Star cast of the movie also includes actors Suraj Venjaramoodu, Prithvi Pandiarajan, M S Baskar, S Rajapandi, Nithin Sathya, Sreeja Ravi, K S Ravikumar, Kushmitha, and Karunas. Cinematographer Theni Eswar ISC has shouldered the camera for the flick. Editor Sreejith Sarang has been contracted to chop and patch the drama.
Art director Mayapandi has engineered sets for the entertainer. Action master Dinesh Kasi has choreographed action blocks for the film. The project is backed by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh in association with Kushmitha Ganesh under the production label Vels Film International.
On the professional side, actor Dhanush K Raja is presently focused on his future drama tentatively titled D 55 directed by Rajkumar Periasamy in which he will be joining forces with actors Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela. Apart from this film, the Vaathi actor has D 56 crafted by Mari Selvaraj, Ilaiyaraaja helmed by Arun Matheswaran, Kalam: The Missile Man Of India filmed by Om Raut, Aayirathil Oruvan 2 directed by Selvaraghavan, Pudhupettai 2 also scripted by Selvaraghavan, and a couple of untitled flicks under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar & H Vinoth in pre-production stage.
On the other hand, actress Mamitha Baiju is staring at successive releases in Irandu Vaanam helmed by Ram Kumar in which she has costarred with actor Vishnu Vishal, and Jana Nayagan crafted by H Vinoth in which she has collaborated with actors Vijay, Pooja Hegde, & Bobby Deol. The actress is currently busy working on her next Malayalam movie Bethlehem Kudumba Unit helmed by A D Girish in which she will be teaming up with actor Nivin Pauly, and Premalu 2 filmed by A D Girish in which she will be performing alongside actors Naslen & Mathew Thomas.
