With the moral boost that the flick gave him, the actor is now gearing up for the release of his next venture titled Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu which is helmed by director Gautham Vasudev Menon. The movie went on floors sometime ago and had to be stopped due to several reasons from time to time. We had recently reported that the drama is in the final leg of shoot. Finally, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu has been wrapped up, and is sent to the post production works. Now, the production house has announced the release date of the movie on social media. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is poised to hit the theaters worldwide on 15th of September this year. Taking to their official twitter handle the production house shared an announcement video, and wrote, “The most awaited announcement! The blockbuster combo Gautham Vasudev Menon and Silambarasan’s Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu to get a grand release worldwide on sept 15 2022. An A. R. Rahman musical.”
Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will mark the third time association of film maker Gautham Vasudev Menon and Silambarasan after their classic romance drama Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, and the romantic action thriller Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. Their association has engendered high hopes on the project among the fans of the both. On top of that, actor Silambarasan has put in a lot of hard work to get into shape to play his part. It is said that the actor shed 15 kilos for the role. This news has further amplified the anticipation of the flick.
Celebrated writer B. Jeyamohan has penned the story for the entertainer. Apart from actor Silambarasan, the casting department of the flick has actors Siddhi Idnani, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Aangelina Abraham in various other supporting roles. Oscar recipient musician A. R. Rahman will be handling the musical department for the film. Cinematographer Siddhartha Nuni has been behind the cameras for the flick. Editor Anthony has been bestowed with the responsibility of editing the venture. The movie is funded by Ishari K Ganesh under the production house Vels Film International.
On the work front, actor Silambarasan who was last seen on screens in Maanaadu is getting ready for the release of his next project christened Maha directed by story teller U. R. Jameel with actress Hansika Motwani in the lead, in which he has essayed an extended cameo part. The Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven star is currently busy shooting for his upcoming dual hero venture titled Pathu Thala under the directorial of film maker by Obeli N. Krishna in which he has co starred with actor Gautham Karthik, and Corona Kumar helmed by film maker Gokul.
