Actor Vikram Prabhu had his last outing in the action thriller drama Raid scripted by newbie Karthi with actresses Sri Divya and Ananthika Sanilkumar in the female lead roles. The Thuppakki Munai star is now eagerly anticipating the release of his next film Love Marriage. Debutant director Shanmuga Priyan, former associate of story teller Anand Shankar, has inked and helmed the entertainer.
Malayalam actress Meenakshi Dinesh and Kannada actress Sushmitha Bhat will be making their debut in Kollywood with their female lead roles in the movie. Love Marriage is poised to hit the screens worldwide on 27th of June. The production house had recently released two songs ‘Kalyana Kalavaram’ and ‘Bejaara Aanen’ from the project on social media. They have now launched the third track titled ‘Eduda Bottle’ from the album.
Taking to his official X handle, actor Vikram Prabhu himself shared a clip of director Mysskin singing the song ‘Eduda Bottle’ from Love Marriage and wrote, “Love Marriage on June 27th. “Eduda Bottle” – The ultimate Bottle song from Love Marriage crosses over 1 Million views on YouTube. Director Mysskin has crooned the song. Lyricist Mohanrajan has penned lyrics for the number. Leelavathi has choreographed dance moves for the track. Music director Sean Roldan has handled musical instruments for the entertainer. Love Marriage is the second collaboration of him with actor Vikram Prabhu following their association in Neruppu Da. The track has been mixed and mastered by Aswin George.
Earlier speaking about the flick, director Shanmuga Priyan revealed, “Love Marriage is set in a rural backdrop. It threads on an imperative contemporary issue – struggles and consequences of men facing difficulties to find a suitable bride. In our society, men start to face marital pressure from their family soon after they cross 30. How they cope with marriage pressure and delayed marriages will form the crux of the story.”
He further added, “Instead of taking a melodramatic tone with this serious subject, we have infused a mix of comedy with a wide range of emotions. We have also played a bit with storytelling style to entertain the audience. I am confident the family audience will love the experience the film offers.”
The ensemble cast of Love Marriage also includes actors Ramesh Tilak, Muruganandam, Arul Doss, Gajaraj, Kodangi Vadivelu, Ananda, L K Akshay Kumar, Winner Ramachandran, and Yasar. Veteran actor Sathyaraj will be seen in an extended cameo role in the project. Cinematographer Madhan Christopher has overseen the cinematography department of the film.
Editor Barath Vikraman has been hired to trim the venture. Art director Vignesh Guru has designed the background for the flick. Action master Dinesh Kasi has fashioned action blocks for the film. Love Marriage is bankrolled by Dr Swetha Shri under the banner house Assure Films in affiliation with Sreenidhi Sagar for the production house Rise East Entertainment.
On the work front, actor Vikram Prabhu is gearing up for his next release in Telugu via the action crime entertainer Ghaati directed by Krish Jagarlamudi in which he has co starred with actors Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, and Jagapathi Babu. The 60 Vayadu Maaniram actor is presently shooting for his next flicks Rathamum Sadhaiyum helmed by Harendhar Balachandar, and Pagaiye Kathiru directed by Manivel in which he will be performing alongside actresses Smruthi Venkat and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
On the other hand, actress Meenakshi Dinesh is currently engaged in her next Telugu project tentatively titled SVCC 39 scripted by Kumar Sai in which she will be romancing actor Gopichand.
