Actor Raghava Lawrence lastly entertained audiences in the period action film Jigarthanda DoubleX crafted by director Karthik Subbaraj with actors S J Suryah and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles. The Motta Siva Ketta Siva actor will soon be seen on screens in an extended cameo part in the action thriller Bullet. The Telugu version of the drama is christened Bullettu Bandi. The flick will mark the debut of his younger brother Elviin as lead hero.
Story teller Innasi Pandiyan, who previously helmed Dairy, has written and directed the film. Writer Gnanakaravel has penned dialogues for the drama. Telugu actress Vaishali Raj will make her debut in Tamil cinema with her female lead role in the project. The production house is working to secure a date to release the venture. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be made soon.
Meanwhile, the makers have now launched the teaser of the film on social media. Actor and music composer G V Prakash Kumar has unveiled the teaser. Taking to his official X profile, music director G V Prakash Kumar shared a link to the teaser of Bullet and captioned it, “Best of luck team . . . Thrilled to present the official teaser of Bullet! Wishing K Kathiresan sir, Raghava Lawrence Master, Elviin, and the entire team all the very best. This one’s gearing up to be a high-octane thriller packed with action and style! The nearly two minutes long teaser of Bullet opens to an aerial shot of Jesus Christ to the voiceover, “Every catastrophic event in our lives would have indeed occurred previously somewhere someplace.” Then we have the intro of actor Elviin with an extreme close-up of the eyes shot. The scene cuts to actress Vaishali expressing, “Since childhood, I have never gotten anything I desired. I do not wish to lose you.”
In a shot we have political commentator Rangaraj Pandey saying, “Sometimes to learn the truth we need a power beyond science.” Subsequently we see a sorceress say, “Time is more powerful than the universe. No one in this world has won against time.”
Finally, we have the intro of actor Raghava Lawrence with him performing gravity defying stunts. We have a character taking a philosophical tone, “In life, we do not find answers to a few riddles. Even if we manage to overcome it, it continues to haunt us.” The teaser ends with a Bullet moving on its own without a driver.
Apart from Raghava Lawrence, Elviin, and Vaishali, the star cast of Bullet also has Telugu actor Sunil, Kaali Venkat, Singampuli, Aravind Akash, Raj Kapoor, Chaams, and Rangaraj Pandey essaying various supporting roles. Music composer Sam C S has been trusted with the musical division of the flick. Cinematographer Aravinnd Singh has taken care of the cinematography department of the drama.
Editor Vadivel Vimal Raj has been bestowed with the responsibility to edit the entertainer. Art director P Raju has designed sets for the venture. Stunt master Phantom Pradeep has choreographed action moves for the movie. The movie is funded by Kathiresan under the production banner Five Star Creations.
On the professional side, actor Raghava Lawrence is simultaneously shooting for many of his future projects in Benz directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan in which he will be teaming up with actors Nivin Pauly & Samyuktha, Kanchana 4 scripted and headlined by himself with actresses Pooja Hegde & Nora Fatehi as female leads, Hunter helmed by story teller Venkat Mohan, Adhigaram crafted by Durai Senthilkumar, and Kaala Bhairava filmed by director Ramesh Varma.
