AGS Cinemas Bags Tamil Nadu Theatrical Rights Of Jiiva’s Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan!
Actor Jiiva was last seen on screens in a cameo appearance in the Telugu movie S Saraswathi crafted and headlined by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar with actors Prakash Raj and Priyamani in lead roles. The Yaan actor will soon grace the silver screens via the upcoming romantic comedy entertainer Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan. Director M Rajesh, known for his hilarious dramas like Boss Engira Bhaskaran and All In All Azhagu Raja, has penned and helmed the project.
Actress Ivana of Let’s Get Married fame has been paired with actor Jiiva in the drama. Filming for Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan took place across multiple places in Chennai, with a small portion captured in Malaysia. The makers have been promoting the film by releasing a first look poster and a teaser for the movie. We now have news that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the entertainer have been acquired by AGS Cinemas. The production team themselves have announced the news on social media.

The teaser of Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan which released earlier showed a drunken Jiiva and Sudhakar Jayaraman causing chaos at a wedding, while pulling off a political jibe in reference to actor Vijay’s elevation as the Chief Minister. Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan is said to revolve around a happy go lucky guy whose life turns topsy-turvy after he gets into a relationship.
The ensemble cast of Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan also comprises popular YouTuber Sudhakar Jayaraman, Bagavathi Perumal, M S Bhaskar, Abdool Lee, Gopi Aravindh, Raj Ayyappa, Tulasi, Hasini Pavithra, and Srinivas Rethika. Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has handled musical instruments for the flick. He is collaborating with actor Jiiva for the seventh time after their phenomenal albums in Raam, Kattradhu Thamizh, Siva Manasula Sakthi, Kalathil Santhippom, Coffee With Kadhal, and Aghathiyaa.
Cinematographer M Sukumar has overseen the visuals and camera division for the film. Editor Ashish Joseph has been signed in to chop and patch the venture. Art director Hasini Pavithra has fashioned background for the drama. Stunt master Prabhu C has served as the stunt coordinator for the flick. Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan is funded by Dato Abdul Malik and Razik Ahamed under the banner house Malik Streams Corporation.
On the work front, actor Jiiva is eagerly awaiting the release of Golmaal filmed by Ponkumaran in which he has joined forces with actresses Tanya Hope & Payal Rajput. The Mugamoodi actor is currently occupied in his next project tentatively titled Jiiva 46 scripted by K G Balasubramani in which he will be associating with actress Rabiya Khatoon, Thagappan helmed by Ra Venkat in which he will be teaming up with actress Rajisha Vijayan, and a Hindi movie The Saga Of Rashtriya Rifles created by Manzoor Ahmad in which he will be performing alongside actors Ashutosh Rana, Fahmaan Khan, & Urvashi Rautela.
On the other hand, actress Ivana is now working on her upcoming Telugu entertainer Selfish created by Kasi Vishal in which she will be featuring with actors Racha Ravi & Ashish Reddy.
