Mugen Rao’s Niram Trailer: A Slew Of Missing Women Cases Spark Chaos During The Election!
Actor Mugen Rao lastly entertained audiences in the fantasy movie Jinn – The Pet filmed by T R Bala with actress Bhavya Trikha as female lead. The Venpa actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming action film titled Niram. Newbie director Krishna Balaram has inked and crafted the drama. Actress Preethi Asrani of Kiss fame has essayed the female lead role in the entertainer.
Actress Tanya Hope of Dharala Prabhu fame has starred as the second female lead in the project. The shoot for the entertainer happened in several areas across Chennai, Tiruttani, and Velankanni. The makers are eyeing to release the venture in the month of August. An official release date for the project is expected to be revealed shortly. The production team had recently launched a couple of singles from the album on social media. They have now dropped the trailer of the venture.
Taking to his official X profile, actor Vijay Sethupathi shared a special poster along with a link to the trailer of Niram and worded, “Here is the trailer of Niram. Best wishes to the whole team. The two minutes odd trailer of Niram opens to an aerial shot of eagles flying in the sky above the ocean and shifts to a bustling night traffic. Then we have a cop reporting to his superior, “Sir, missing case.” The scene cuts to a cop informing someone, “Including your daughter, this is the sixth missing person case this month.” Following which a cop tells his deputy, “Nowadays, crimes committed in the name of love are very different.”
Subsequently, we have an individual asking someone, “Where is my Keerthana? Where should I go to find her?” Then we have a news bulletin, ‘Statistics indicate a 62% chance that opposition leader Aranganathan will win.’ In a scene actress Preethi Asrani says, “If a woman likes you, she will tell you that she likes you.” The shot shifts to a father telling someone, “I do not know who you are, but I beg you, please find my daughter and return her to me.” The trailer ends with actress Surekha Vani swearing, “I will go to any extent for my daughter.”
The casting unit of the movie also includes actors Surekha Vani, Nitin Sathya, Anbu Mayilsamy, Gajaraj, Sneha Gupta, Thirunavukarasu, and Sreejith Ravi. Cinematographer Santanio Terzio has shouldered camera for the drama. Music composer D Imman has scored music for the movie. Two songs ‘Noodhana Noodhana’ crooned by Kapil Kapilan & Sreenisha Jayaseelan lyrics inked by Pa Vijay, and ‘Mama Variya’ sung by Mangli lyrics written by Viveka, are already out from the album.
Editor V J Sabu Joseph has been hired to oversee the editing department of the project. Art director Dhamodharan has engineered sets for the flick. Stunt director Dinesh Subbarayan has designed action moves for the venture. The drama is bankrolled by K Bindu Madhavi in partnership with P Rajesh under the production label K Square Cinemas.
On the professional front, actor Mugen Rao is staring at consecutive releases in Madhil Mel Kaadhal crafted by Anjana Ali Khan in which he has collaborated with actresses Divya Bharathi & Sakshi Agarwal, and Kaadhal Enbathu Saabama scripted by Bala Ganapathi William in which he has costarred with actresses Subashini Asokan & Akshara Nair. The Velan actor is presently busy with his future untitled flick directed by Krishna Balaram in which he will be featuring alongside actress Preethi Asrani, and a film tentatively titled Production 2 helmed by Kavin in which he will be teaming up with actors Anikha Surendran & Adithya Kathir.
On the other hand, actress Preethi Asrani is anticipating her next Tamil release in Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow filmed by Vikkie Bhaskar in which she has associated with actor Rudra, and Appa Kutty helmed by Mu Maran in which she has starred alongside actors Vijay Antony & Sanchana Natarajan. The Balti actress is now engrossed in her next venture Killer headlined and crafted by S J Suryah. Actress Tanya Hope is now working on her upcoming Telugu movie Jaguar scripted by Stalin in which she will be romancing actor Thrigun and a Kannada film Bell Bottom 2 created by Jayathirtha in which she will be performing with actors Rishab Shetty & Haripriya.
