Kollywood’s heartthrob actor Surya’s long waited movie was “24“. He himself has acted and produced the movie and the movie will hit screens today all over the world. The movie was written and directed by Vikram Kumar. The movie features Suriya, Samantha and Nithya Menon in predominant roles. In this movie Suriya has paired with Samantha after the failure of “Anjaan”.
A.R.Rahman has scored music for this movie and the songs which were launched earlier are super hit and “Punnagaye” song which was sung by Shashaa Tirupati and Haricharan Sesh was simply outstanding to hear. Saranya Ponvannan has done the mother role more perfectly. Suriya has played the roles of Mani, Sethuraman and Athreya. Athreya is the evil and cruel natured brother. Suriya plays the character of twin brothers, one is a scientist and the other is a wicked brother.
The scientist brother finds a watch which manipulates time and the wicked brother wants to get the ownership of the watch and he even kills his brother’s spouse. The scientist brother escapes with his baby and hands over the baby to an unknown lady he meets in the train. The wicked brother murders the scientist, but he couldn’t get the watch. By the time the baby grows into a handsome Suriya and he comes to know about the usage of the watch and he uses for his personal use.
Samantha comes in the name of Sathya and she looks very adorable and cute. The second half house warming ceremony scenes are irritating to core. There is love to comedy and pain to revenge and everything is shown wonderfully in the movie. Nithya Menon does her job neatly and perfectly. The supporting roles are made by Girish Karnad, Ajay, Sathyan, Appukutty and Mohan Raman and the director Vikram Kumar has narrated the story extraordinarily. The cinematographer Thiru has done a marvelous job in all aspects of the movie and he deserves a standing ovation for his mind blowing work.
Overall, ’24’ is crafted to perfection!
