Yogi Babu’s Lucky Man Teaser: Promises To Be An Entertaining Drama!

Actor Yogi Babu was last seen on screens in a supporting role in Let’s get Married which hit the theaters this week under the direction of storyteller Ramesh Thamilmani with actors Harish Kalyan, and Ivana in the lead roles. The venture has opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The Gurkha actor has now put that behind him, and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming drama titled Lucky Man in which he has played the lead part. Actress Raichal Rabecca of Kadaisi Vivasayi fame has depicted the female lead part. Film maker Balaji Venugopal who had previously helmed Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi and Kanaa, has penned and directed the project. The venture which went on floors with a small pooja ceremony a while ago is now wrapped, and is in the post production stage shaping up for release. 

The production house has now unveiled the teaser of the movie on social media. Actor Yogi Babu himself has shared the teaser. Taking to his official twitter account, the actor dropped a link to the teaser of Lucky Man, and wrote, “Lucky Man teaser is here. Congrats to the entire team.” Here is the post made by the actor. 

Nearly one minute teaser cut opens to the voiceover of actor Veera Bahu, “This world admires the one with beauty. It respects the smart. It envies the rich. It fears the one with power. But it always trusts the hardworking.” Then we have the introduction of actor Yogi Babu. The teaser ends with a quip, “Please like, share, comment, and Murugan?” Actor Yogi Babu responds, “Do farming. Instead, you do everything else!” The teaser has enjoyed a great reception among the audience, and has clocked over a million views till date. The production house is eyeing to bring the film to the theaters in the month of September this year. They are currently working on reserving a date for release. An official date of release is expected to be announced soon. 

Earlier talking to a leading daily, director Balaji Venugopal said, “Lucky Man will be a wholesome fun filled family drama. I have sort of tried to entwine contemporary socially relevant issues in the movie without taking a serious tone. I am confident the audience will love it.” Apart from actors Yogi Babu and Raichal Rabecca, the casting division of Lucky Man has actors Veera Bahu, Abdool Lee, R S Shivaji, Amit Bhargav, and Sathvick portraying various other supporting roles. Music director Sean Roldan has been brought on board to compose music for the entertainer. Cinematographer Sandeeo K Vijay has shouldered camera for the movie. Editor G Madan has been bestowed with the responsibility to trim the project. Art director Saravanan Vasanth has erected sets for the venture. Stunt master Madhan has choreographed action moves for the drama. The entertainer is bankrolled by Prem S under production company Think Studios. 

On the work front, actor Yogi Babu who had his last outing in Let’s get Married is currently busy shooting for his upcoming drama christened Kanguva directed by film maker Siruthai Siva in which he will play sidekick of actor Surya, for Medical Miracle helmed by K Johnson in which he will be romancing actress Darsha Gupta, for Boomer Uncle crafted by Swadees M S in which he will be collaborating with actress Oviya Helen, for Vaanavan filmed by Sajin K Surendran in which he will be associating with actors Ramesh Thilak, and Kaali Venkat, and for a project tentatively titled Vishal 34 under the direction of story teller Hari in which he will be seen alongside actor Vishal. Apart from these dramas, the actor has Jailer scripted by Nelson Dilipkumar in which he has shared screen space with actor Rajinikanth, Ayalaan directed by R Ravikumar in which he has co starred with actor Sivakarthikeyan, Sathuranga Vettai 2 crafted by N V Nirmal Kumar in which he has collaborated with actor Arvind Swamy, Andhagan helmed by Thiagarajan in which he has associated with actor Prashanth, and a Hindi movie Jawan scripted by director Atlee in which he has collaborated with actors Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi in various stages of post-production getting shaped to hit the screens.
