Actor Vishnu Vishal’s brother Rudra made his debut in Kollywood last year via the coming-of-age romantic comedy drama Oho Enthan Baby crafted by Krishnakumar Ramakumar with actress Mithila Palkar in the female lead role. The actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming romantic entertainer christened Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow. Newbie director Vikkie Bhaskar has written and directed the movie.
Actress Preeti Asrani of Kiss fame has depicted the female lead role in the venture. The shoot for Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow extensively took place in and around the neighborhoods of Chennai. The production unit is currently making moves to lock a date for release of the flick. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be made soon. Meanwhile, the makers have now dropped the title teaser of the film on social media.
Taking to his official X account, story teller Venkat Prabhu unveiled a special poster along with a link to the title teaser of Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow and captioned it, “This pair is all set to take over your feeds, likes and hearts. Title Teaser of Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow is here! YYDF Movie. A film by Vikkie Bhaskar, coming to theatres in 2026. The three minute odd title teaser of Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow begins inside a moving bus, where two families meet for the first time. Actress Devadarshini asks her fellow traveler Anupama Kumar, “Is she your daughter?” She responds, “Yes, my daughter, Jency.” She then tells her daughter, “Show her your trophy.” She then asks Devadarshini, “Is this your son?” She replies, “Yeah, my son, Karan. Your daughter has won a trophy at this age. It is a great achievement.”
Anupama Kumar tells her, “I should not be boasting yet I will say it. She is very talented! Winning a trophy is easy for her. In the future, if you see she will start something that will turn people’s heads.” The shot cuts to the daughter as a grown woman (Preeti Asrani) talking in a reel, “Hi, friends! I am your Jency. Friends, I have started an insta page. I definitely need all your support. As I am uploading videos daily, I am going to drop out of college and make videos for you all. So, please keep supporting my channel. Love you all!”
The shot cuts to the bus again where Devadarshini’s husband (Chetan) tells Anupama Kumar, “You praised your daughter. I did not want to say anything, though. Still, let me say it. Do you think my son would not scale heights? Look at his medal. Best student of the year. With his sharp mind, good looks, and talent, he is going to show the world how great one can become.”
The scene cuts to the son as a grown man (Rudra), shooting a reel as a food reviewer where his friend instructs him, “Buddy, pick it up and show it.” Rudra picks up a piece of mutton from his plate and talks to the camera, “Take a look! The mutton is juicy and tender. It is freaking delicious! Do you wish to eat cheap, delicious mutton in Chennai, as I do? Then do not forget to note down this place, my dear foodies.”
The ensemble cast of Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow also comprises actors Chetan, Karunakaran, Devadarshini, Anupama Kumar, and Jenson Dhivagar. Music director Bharath Sankar has been contracted to handle musical gear for the film. Cinematographer Luke Jose has taken care of the cinematography division of the movie. Editor Nash has been brought on board to bring coherence to the flick.
Art director Veeramani Ganesan has designed sets for the drama. Action director Dinesh Subbarayan has fashioned action blocks for the flick. Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow is bankrolled by Vishnuu Vishal along with Shubhra, & Aryan Ramesh under the production label Vishnu Vishal Studioz, in partnership with Sanjay Arjundas Wadhwa for the production banner API International.
On the professional side, actress Preethi Asrani will next be seen on screens in Tamil in Appa Kutty crafted by story teller Mu Maran in which she has costarred with actors Vijay Antony & Sanchana Natarajan. The Ayodhi actress is now busy shooting for her future film Killer helmed and headlined by actor S J Suryah, and an untitled project scripted by Krishna Balaram in which she will be romancing actor Mugen Rao.
