Actor Atharvaa Murali was last seen on screens earlier this month in the action drama Parasakthi directed by Sudha Kongara with actors Sivakarthikeyan, Jayam Ravi, and Sreeleela in lead roles. The Nirangal Moondru actor will soon have his next release in the coming-of-age romantic movie Idhayam Murali. Producer Aakash Baskaran is poised to become director with this entertainer. He has sought the assistance of writer S Ramana Girivasan to write the story. Actor Dravid Selvam has offered his help in writing dialogues.
Actresses Kayadu Lohar of Dragon fame and Preity Mukundhan of Star fame have been paired with the actor in the flick. Idhayam Murali will be making its way to theaters in summer this year. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be made soon. Earlier the production house had unveiled the teaser and a single from the drama on social media. They have now released the second single from the album.
Taking to their official X profile, the production team of Dawn Pictures shared a special poster along with a link to the second track ‘Thangame Thangame’ from Idhayam Murali and wrote, “When love sparks in a wedding, there’s no stopping the celebration. Singers Dheeraj, Sahithi, Adviteeya, Prakruthi, Pranati, Rajini, and Sruthi have lent their voice for the track. Lyricist Vivek has written lyrics for the number. The song is mixed and mastered by Shadab Rayeen. Dance master Anusha Viswanathan has choreographed dance moves for the number. Music composer Thaman S has composed music for the project. Already a single ‘Idhayaa’ in the lyrics of Vivek, sung by Vishal Mishra & Thaman S is out from the album.
Interestingly, Idhayam is the title of a celebrated classic headlined by Atharvaa’s father Murali. Apart from Atharvaa Murali, Kayadu Lohar, and Preity Mukundhan, the star cast of Idhayam Murali also has actors Natarajan Subramaniam, Niharika N M, S Thaman, Sudhakar, Rakshan, Angeline B, Pragya Nagra, Dravid Selvam, and Yashashree Rao in various supporting roles. Cinematographers C H Sai and Manoj Paramahamsa have worked in tandem to cover the film.
Editor Pradeep E Ragav has been hired to work in the editing department of the drama. Art director Senthilkumar Kesavan has engineered sets for the project. Stunt master Jaikumar Vairavan has fashioned action moves in the flick. Idhayam Murali is backed by Aakash Baskaran himself under his home production Dawn Pictures.
On the professional side, actor Atharvaa Murali is currently busy shooting for his future project Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu helmed by story teller Rajamohan in which he will be seen alongside actress Pooja Jhaveri, a couple of untitled ventures under the direction of M Rajesh in which he will be costarring with actress Aditi Shankar, and one under Akash in which he will be teaming up with actress Khushi Kapoor. Apart from these flicks, he has his long-delayed film Address scripted by Rajamohan in which he has romanced actresses Dhiya & Pooja Jhaveri in shelve awaiting release.
On the other hand, actress Kayadu Lohar will soon have a release in Telugu cinema via Funky helmed by K V Anudeep in which she has costarred with actor Vishwak Sen. The Dragon actress is presently engaged in her next Tamil film tentatively titled STR 49 helmed by Karthik Thangavel in which she will be joining forces with actor Silambarasan, Immortal directed by Mariyappan Chinna in which she will be collaborating with actor G V Prakash Kumar, a couple of Malayalam flicks Thaaram scripted by Vinay Govind in which she will be performing alongside actors Nivin Pauly & Nikhila Vimal, and I’m Game directed by Nahas Hidhayath in which she will be sharing screen space with actor Dulquer Salmaan.
