Samantha was in the lead position in the Tollywood film industry and through Anjaan she made a re-entry into Kollywood. She got attention in that movie as she did a bikini show. But despite that, she never got recognition in Kollywood.
Anjaan also never lived up to the anticipations of Suriya’s fans and it was a failure. But Samantha got popular after acting in two piece dress in that movie. After that she had got an opportunity to act with Vijay in his movie Kaththi. Within a short span of time she has acted with Vikram in 10 Enradhukkulla and also with Dhanush in his Thanga Magan.
As both the movies are not successful, she has decided not to depend only on Tamil industry and so she started to concentrate equally in both the industries. Her recent movie with Vijay in Theri has become successful and she feels acting with Vijay gains fame and popularity and she shows interest to act with Vijay.
