Actor Sibi Sathyaraj was last seen on screens in the mystery thriller Sathya, an official remake of super hit Telugu flick Kshanam, which hit the screens in the year 2017 under the directorial of story teller Pradeep Krishnamoorthy. Though the venture garnered critical acclamations from the critics in the industry, it did not fair in the box office as expected. The actor who is currently busy shooting for various movies is now gearing up for the release of his next thriller drama titled as Ranga. The entertainer which has been shot in and around Chennai with a few portions in Kashmir has now reached the post production stage. Now the production unit has unveiled the teaser of the entertainer on social media.
Actor and producer Sivakarthikeyan has shared the teaser of the flick on his social media account. Taking to his twitter handle, the actor shared the teaser of the drama and wrote, ‘Happy to release this solid action teaser of Ranga. Best wishes to dear Sibi Sathyaraj bro, Sathish and the entire team a big success.’ The teaser is action packed and arouses our curiosity when a voice over tells actor Sibi Sathyaraj, ‘Your life is over.’ The first half of the entertainer is touted to be a complete family drama building up the script for the second half to be an action thriller. The drama is said to have been crafted around a social message which is very relevant for today’s society. The trailer and audio of the flick will be released soon.
The movie is scripted and directed by story teller Vinod D. L. Actress Nikhila Vimal will be romancing the actor in the project. Apart from Sibi Sathyaraj and Nikhila Vimal, the casting of the film has Sathish, Sujatha Babu, Sara, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Renuka, and Jeeva Ravi playing various supporting roles. The music for the thriller drama has been composed by Ramjeevan. While Arvi has been seen behind the lens for the project, editor Ruben will be trimming the movie. The motion picture is bankrolled by Vijay K Celliah under the banner Boss Movies. The actor has not had a single release after his mystery thriller Sathya which hit the theaters in 2017. So the actor is said to have high hopes on the venture. We will have to wait to see whether the project gives the much necessary fillip to the career of the actor or not.
On the professional front, actor Sibi Sathyaraj is currently busy shooting for his next mythological mystery thriller titled as Maayon under the direction of story teller Kishore in which he will be sharing the screen space with actress Tanya Ravichandran. Apart from this flick, the actor has the multi starrer action crime thriller Walter which is set to be directed by U. Anbarasan in which he will be co starring with actors Vikram Prabhu, Arjun Sarja, Samuthirakani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Shirin Kanchwala. Besides this venture the actor has inked his signature for an untitled film which will be directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy which is said to be the remake of the super hit Kannada film Kavaludaari.
